Most of us have probably read that Kaley is getting divorced. So I'm coming in here as a reminder, because another actor thread went way over the line earlier this year, that this thread will not deteriorate into a tabloid, and will not be a place to share screenshots of private correspondence.

If you would not say it to the face of Kaley, of Karl, of Kaley's mother, etc, do not say it here.

I was really surprised too! I know social media doesn't tell the whole story - even more so with celebrities - but they always seemed so genuinely solid together.

From the release Kaley and Karl issued yesterday:

With Karl at horse shows almost all the time and Kaley filming for weeks, they barely saw each other the last few months. And in the upcoming months their extremely busy schedules would continue to keep them apart for most of the time. Maybe they came to the conclusion that a happy marriage cannot work under such circumstances. We'll probably never know the exact reason for the divorce, but to me that's how the release reads.

That is my guess. Something along the lines of "this just isn't a marriage anymore."

They just grow up apart (specially Karl, he changed so much since he met her). And their respect careers push them in different directions.
I take their statement for exactly what it is, and it takes a good amount of love, maturity and selflessness to let the other go even if you still love him/her.
