Kaley looked stunning in that new photoshoot, hence the icon change. She was just beautiful (not that she isn't always pretty!)

Concerning her remarks, I think she is just ignorant of the feminist movement and is associating it with the more extremist feminist ideas going around and not focusing on the core idea which is RIGHT TO CHOOSE AND HAVING EQUAL CHOICE. If she is happy being a housewife, then let her be happy, she CHOSE to be in that position and wasnt forced into anything.

I do understand it, in the sense that it can get off the impression that she doesn't care about those that do need to fight for equality. It can easily translate to "I don't suffer from inequality, so it doesn't matter to me," especially to people who get grief in their personal lives for being who they are, whether that be female, transgendered, homosexual, etc. Example: I know someone on Facebook who actually said "I'm not gay so why should I care if they can get hospital visitation rights or whatever?" Now Kaley didn't mean it like that, of course she didn't, because she is a very sweet person. But I think she is beginning to realize - even if the realization was brought about in backlash that was definitely taken too far - that what she says can come off badly to people who have been raised in a different environment. I definitely don't like the threatening type comments she's gotten...but honestly, if she make a statement like that, that is a touchy subject for many people, she needs to expect that people might have knee jerk reactions. It's easy to say "well of course Kaley didn't mean it like that!" but it's a lot harder to remember when you've been disadvantaged your entire life and someone you might admire says something that is ambiguous enough to interpret to mean "if it doesn't effect me, I really don't care about it."

I love Kaley. But I don't like the comments she made. Doesn't mean I like or approve of the extent of protest she's gotten, but I was disappointed with that article.

This exactly. And I got the impression, like Katie said, that she seems to be connecting feminism with the more extreme movements. Like, how she talked about how she likes making dinner for her husband as if that someone conflicted with the idea of feminism, when really it doesn't.
