God, that first sneak peek pretty much sums up why I love Leonard and Penny. And nope, I don't think what kind of home you want is the stuff you talk about while dating. It's not weird at all for them to talk about it now.

Arranged marriages are weird. What Raj is doing is weird.

Couple things on the sneek peeks:

I'm gonna go out on a limb that this is more of penny running a specific idea through her head as a reaction to Howardette's kids scaring the neighbors away. Similar to her getting upset about Bernadette moving forward reminding her about her not moving forward in season 10. Only to realize she wasn't ready to move forward in later episodes.

Though I do think this plot is worth tackling a specific question, which does Leonard love more? Penny? Or the ideal life where Penny gives him smart and beautiful babies?
I know you're probably thinking it's obviously the former. But saying you're that person & actually being that person aren't necessarily the same thing (Psychic Vortex anyone?)
I have no doubt Leonard can be, but not w/o some hiccups.


On the dream vacation joke. Not knowing their spouses likes/dislikes is Penny's schtick. Leonard's is him knowing those things.


Raj is getting defensive about the choice he's making w/ arranged marriage. Makes me think he only values this decision if others do.

I'm trying to go into the Raj storyline with an open mind, but yeah, if I gave half a shoot about Young Sheldon characters I would watch Young Sheldon. Especially when the writers have said they aren't introducing any more family members of other characters in the last season, but of course Sheldon gets new so-far-unmentioned friends who already exist on another show in our show's last season.
