Hello peeps! What a fun day yesterday! :yay:

First, the show was absolutely AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! Hysterically funny beyond description! I have to tell you, if you have even remotely been thinking of making the time to see, please do! You will not regret it!

Jim is absolute perfection. Usually in a play, the actors are performing for the audience, but in this show, Jim is speaking to and interacting with the audience. Even though this is a comedy, almost non-stop laughing in certain parts, there are 2 moments which are a bit more serious. Perhaps touching and poignant are better words. And it was amazing how silent and captivated the audience became. He transitions so seamlessly from the funny moments to the more serious ones, and nothing felt fake. I predict he will be nominated for a Tony. :love:

We loved it so much, we are considering going again!! :D

The only disappointment was we didn't get to see him as he left the theater. We easily found the back of the theater before going inside, they actually have An Act of God sign right above it! :lol: But since our seats were in the upper mezzanine, we were forced to wait as everyone else slowly shuffled out. Once we left the building, we sprinted around the block to the back, and it appeared that we had just missed him. We heard people clapping, and saw several people walking away with signed playbills. :( Oh well.

In case someone else here plans to see the show, I don't want to reveal too many specifics. So if you have specific questions, feel free to PM.

I desperately wanted to take some bootleg Jim video on my cell, but was way too chicken! So as a consolation prize, here's a pic I took of the stage at the end. :lol:

Thanks Rosie for sharing. I'm happy for you that you had so much fun in the Play and I'm sorry you didn't meet Jim. But now you have a reason to come back and see the play again :D ;)

As it hasn't been mentioned here yet, I believe a couple of days ago marked the 1 year anniversary of Jim joining IG. Which means that it's probably a year tomorrow that Jim announced it on Kelly & Michael and that means it's the IG anniversary for me and, I suspect, quite a lot of other Jim fans. :lol:

Glad you had a great time, Rosie. :) I'm joining the group of people who have no chances to see the play. Oh, I wish there would be a way, but then I guess I wouldn't want to go that far anyway...

Aww. This Forum and IG is really the only online interaction I get involved with, but I have become a bit too addicted to Insta. I wish more people from this Forum were on it; I follow a few BBT people, but it would be so nice to follow people from here I feel I really know. Or maybe you're all on it and are just hiding from me. :( I wouldn't blame you! :lol:
