Well 'Alien Nation' was just one guest spot, but 'Sherman Oaks' he was in the cast for the whole series (2 or 3 seasons?). It was pretty hilarious, although also a bit of a cable TV sex farce with the girl with the unfortunate giant implants being topless now and again. Jason's character was really funny, a wealthy white boy who was convinced he was an oppressed black man. And of course everybody in the family was 'wacky'. It was done in a mock documentary/reality show style that was a little annoying.

I just checked and Netflix doesn't have it anyway. I think it's worth seeing an episode or two, to get the flavor of it, but, um, it wasn't 'great art'!

Yeah, only Jason's role was good I think- he can be anyone you want him to be

The guy with the dark glasses in that pic played the documentary guy - he was a terribly hammy actor - and his dad was the executive producer of the show, which is, I guess how he got the job? Vin Di Bona productions put it out - most famous for "America's Funniest Videos"

I managed to watch the first episode...not sure it's my thing. maybe when I have some free time I might sit down and try to watch them again!

It's a pretty 'broad' comedy (nudge nudge, wink wink). Not really a great show (or a good show) - Jason often leaves it off his resume! Had some political humor I think, which probably dates it a lot, and a recurring joke about earthquakes.


Now 'Push' was an interesting show, where Jason was an Olympic-hopeful runner at a college with a bunch of athletes. He didn't play a very nice guy in that one, had a mean father pushing him (Daddy issues) and wasn't beyond cheating to win. But blink and that show was off the air - didn't have many episodes. Had a good cast - Jamie Pressley was in it, lots of people who went on and did other stuff. He was crazy buff for that one, too.



Funny, I wondered at one point why we'd never watched it and my daughter said we'd seen a commercial for it and I said "We're not watching that, too racy" or something like that.

Yes when a young actor is scrambling for work most roles seem good. Here is hoping Jason gets that breakout role he truly deserves!

Hope the right thing comes along for Jason. Ooo, there was a photo of KaDee in TV Guide with an article about new pilots. So I guess that means it hasn't been picked up as a show yet?
