I read that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have $158 milliion between them; wonder if they'll split it 50/50?

most of us only have several very very good friends....we have others that are good then down the line....thank goodness for our friends we can count on
 death penalty discussion  tough one...but I agree with ML some truly evil acts cry out for justice  especially when children get killed or maimed or tortured __________________

Yes, rumors suddenly swirling around that Ben and Jennifer are about to get divorced! Ten years, 3 kids.. I hope it isn't true, they seemed like such a happy couple. Although I know he is a big gambler (and probably likes to drink, too). SIGH.
Yes, a few really good friends are special. I was so disappointed my best friend couldn't come to my wedding, never mind not be in my wedding, when I had been her maid of honor. My maid of honor (red dress) was a gal from my college I lived with for awhile after graduation, but we'd never been friends in college (and didn't stay friends long after she moved away, either).  Death penalty is a touchy issue but I think as you say, some crimes/criminals deserve the maximum punishment. It's like putting down a rabid dog for public safety. time for a new post count thread, but might as well wait for start of June, and the May post count!  With aubie and Mini in our corner, I think it will set a new record!  __________________

 I hope it's not true about Ben and Jennifer. They seem like such a great, 'normal,' couple with a realistic outlook on being a celebrity. I think it's only the trashy gossip mags that are running the story so far so maybe it's just speculation __________________
