Agreed, girls. I do think that coaches give advice and support their players, but what Eric is willing to do in many situations goes beyond the mile.

Yeah, you know Tim's pride isn't gonna let him open up to his Coach about all that went down with the bar fight and his dad. And Coach isn't going to push him even though he knows Tim needs help.

Oh god, they'd have a worse reaction to Tim than they did with Matt. I can really see Eric and Tami locking Julie away forever.

Ok so I was perusing fics and there was a Matt/Julie/Tim triangle fic that I skimmed and one line made me die and think of this thread.

Julie tells her mother about dating Tim something like

"Mom, I am dating TIm RIggins not Matt Saracen. He isnt gonna wanna hold my hand and ask me to homecoming."


I could so see that distinctly in my head and Eric having a meltdown.
