I keep seeing The Irishmen on Netflix but I too am not sure I can devote three hours to that.

I am going to break down and get Apple TV, or at least try out The Morning Show. I guess the first two episodes are free. I started The Good Place and I think it's cute but I'm not sure how long I can be into this concept.

I somehow pulled my quad or hyperextended something while attempting to get up from a kneeling position of all things while I was putting up Christmas lights. I wonder if I don't have tendonitis, my knees have been hurting me after workouts with a lot of lunges, and squat jumps...I think I just irritated it. It doesn't hurt when I'm not moving. Good excuse to do nothing tomorrow.

Random little note but after like a week-long of being in the low to mid-30s when there wasn't the night or two of 20s, and sometimes low 40s in the morning. WE FINALLY GOT SOME SNOW. It's only a little dusting and its wet cause it's like a rain-snow mix, but yeah.

We are having ice storms right now. I did go out and finally get my niece the luggage that was on sale. The roads weren't too bad as of yet.

We never ended up watching The Irishman. We started It's A Wonderful Life in which I promptly fell asleep. Watching the Eagles now and eating Chef-Boyardee from a can.

Finished ep 3 of the Crown. ... the one about the mining accident. Horrible.

The ice storm hit a little north of us, our cottage is without power, they had a lot of ice, then snow. We've just had wind and rain here.

I didn't really care for the 3rd season of The Crown, the stories just weren't there for me, but the Aberfan episode was the best of the season. I can't believe I'd never heard of that accident.

It is confirmed that if an intruder ever came into my house I'd be robbed blind. I woke up from a dead sleep at 2:30 in the morning after something crashed downstairs. It was one of those...did I really just hear what I heard? kind of thing that wakes you up out of your sleep...Griswold was looking at me like he'd heard it too but was no help. I assumed it was probably my cat, Sam, he'd knocked something over but it still took me a half hour to get the courage up to go downstairs and see what it was...it wasn't Sam, he was sleeping at the top of the stairs. I hadn't taken all of the cardtables back down to the basement yet and two of them crashed and fell over. But of course my mind went to, someone is in the house, I'm just gonna lay here for 20 minutes before I go see what it is.

The Irishman is 3 hours?

It was 81 yesterday and currently 48. I give up. I made a HUGE pot of gumbo and we moved some things around so we can get the tree up! I’m so excited. This will be the first time we’ve had our tree up in three years! I don’t have a fireplace...so I’m not sure where the stockings are going just yet. We got a few Christmas things out and put up. My coffee station looks good though!

Baby minion has his Christmas party tomorrow. It’s a party and holiday market. For weeks I have asked him what he wanted to sell. He decided LAST NIGHT. Marshmallows dipped in chocolate and dredged in graham cracker and dredged in crushed peppermint with hot chocolate. I had to get the ingredients today. Color me annoyed. OM has one week of classes, and then finals next week. A dear friend of my MIL is in town, so we’re meeting her tomorrow afternoon to catch up. We haven’t seen her in 5 years, since my MIL died. We adore her!

I’m not sure when the other Christmas stuff will go up... slowly over the week I think. I have 8 clients booked for this week!! They are consultations, so they decide to start a package. I have done a lot of free sessions to get the word out, now I need paying clients.

I adore Matt Damon too! Baby minion loves him. I think I’ve seen most all of his movies. Baby Minion currently loves The Martin most.

I like Christian Bale. Ever since Empire of the Sun, which I think is his first movie. He’s an awesome Batman.

I don’t like noises that go bump in the night either...

That Eagles game was as tasty as chef whatever you’re eating from a can.

I think it's actually like 3 and a half hours, it probably should have been a mini series, would be easier to digest, but it's Scorsese and he's all about "cinema" so it would probably be sacrilegious to suggest it be presented that way, as a limited series and not a movie. Plus, it had to have the limited release in theaters to qualify for the Oscars.

Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting, the early Bourne movies, The Martian. I mean I hated him in The Departed too but he was great in that too. I have a soft spot for Ben and Matt.

My favorite Christian Bale movie is The Prestige, such an underrated movie.

I really want to see Marriage Story with all the Oscar buzz for Adam Driver, who I love, but also Knives Out, my girl crush, Ana de Armas is in it and Daniel Craig! Plus I've heard it's just really really good.

That’s why it’s playing at the drafthouse. I was so confused. I thought it was Netflix, and then I saw it there...not sure if I think it’s genius or cheating.

We like we bought a zoo.

Paul Wesley is on Watch What Happens Live tonight. I can't wait. He'll be funny.

We Bought a Zoo I will never forget the night I saw Good Will Hunting in the theater. I sat in my seat and sobbed, just staring at the screen. I was on a date too. He thought I was weird because of it. He didn't get it. We broke up. lol

Christian Bale reminds me of Dick VanDike in Mary Poppins all the time. I can't explain it. Not so much in Vice but the few other movies that I saw of his. Granted, I haven't seen a lot.

Not a big Adam Driver fan either. I still haven't seen Blackkklansman yet though. I guess I should see one or two more of his projects before I make a final decision.

You've never seen Adam Driver in anything? I discovered him in Girls but I think my favorite movie he's been in is This is Where I Leave You, he plays Connie Britton's younger boyfriend.

He was good in Blackkkklansman but I'm looking forward to Marriage Story.

No I have, I just wasn't impressed. I thought he was terrible in Star Wars. I did see This Is Where I Leave You, but I forgot that he was in that. I liked that movie and he was good in that, but it was such a small part. I need to see him in something that he got acclaim for to see what I'm missing. I only watched 2 seasons of Girls but I remember thinking he was gross and a jerk, but I guess that was more the character than him.

Marriage Story is available on Netflix on Friday which is supposed to be his strongest role yet. I haven't seen him in Star Wars. I liked him in Logan Lucky too but Blackkklansman was good, I don't think he was the standout, but that was a supporting role, as it should have been.

He's also in another new movie, The Report with Michael C. Hall, Jon Hamm, Maura Tierney, Corey Stoll. It's available to stream on Amazon Prime right now.

I know I've been absent for a while. After Thanksgiving, I got kinda sick - bad head cold and just sooooo tired. I think it was a combination of the temps dropping here, the rain beginning and the stress of the holiday. Today it feels as if I'm finally coming out of it a bit.

I cannot imagine snow at this point in the year. It just seems the weather has gone crazy these last few years. snow storms, hurricanes, floods, fires - its insane. Keep warm out there - be careful driving and stay safe.

I'm right there with you, not the sick part, but it's been tough to get back into the swing of things after Thanksgiving. And I feel like I haven't seen the sun in weeks. I think it's supposed to come out on Thursday.

It was snowing here today but just a dusting, nothing big like a few weeks ago but it always feels colder when it's snowing.

My friend is getting married next summer and we have the bachelorette party planned for May in Charleston, she's already bothering me to book a flight with her...it's six months away. Give it some time, they might add flights. Right now she wants to road trip it down to Columbus for cheaper flights but our flight home wouldn't get in until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, and then it's a four hour drive home. I would be ready to kill her by then. I'd pay a few extra hundred bucks to get me back to Detroit so I'm home in like 45 minutes.

I’m not a big fan of Adam Driver either.

I’m still sick. I haven’t been sick like this in 5 years. I hate it! It’s driving me bonkers.

It was 78 here today. Pick a season Austin! Pick.a.season!

I feel ya! Hold out for a direct flight. So worth it.

Feel better soon Kayla. I had to take a sick today because my period was SOOO bad. Sorry t be gross, but we are all women here. For 20 hours, I've been doubled over in pain and living in the bathroom. The older I get, the worse it gets. I was up all night in tears.
