One of those days when I feel awful like I want to scream or cry or both and everything is irritating and everyone is irritating and everything is going wrong. So I'm not a cryer so I just want to go and eat my feelings which I won't do either so I'm going to sit here and be passive aggressive and irritated and drink five ice coffees and proceed to give myself an ulcer.

Oh no! What's going on? I've been having a rough week myself. But the sun is finally out today, so I feel better.

It is absolutely nothing in particular, I'm just in a super irritable mood, combined with a day of meetings non-stop. I started at 9:00 a.m., didn't even have time for lunch, had a ton of demanding clients with on the fly changes to things we'd prepared for them, finding out that plans I had this weekend were a no go, plans the next few weekends with family that have been in the works for awhile with a lot of moving parts are now in question because one person is backing out after an effort on a few of us to go out of our way to be accommodating. It's raining...etc.

I just went on amazon and randomly bought cute cactus dryer balls and a comfy outdoor blow up sofa to make me feel better.

How cute are they?

They're supposed to separate your laundry and make it all dry more evenly. I have that issue with an older dryer. I have to run it through two cycles if it's a heavier load with towels and sheets so this is supposed to move them around, also supposed to fluff your towels.

We'll see, they were only 8 dollars. They have blowfish and hedgehog balls too.

Hmmm. I will have to try them.

Tennis balls work also, but not nearly as cute. They are adorable!!

Sorry you're having a bad day. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better. It IS Friday...

I have heard the tennis ball thing too, but I feel like if they got warm they'd stink. Like they already have a bit of a rubbery smell to them when they're new anyway.

I'm staying in and watching the Lions preseason game tonight. I'm so desperate for football.

I love English football. I guess you call it soccer. Our season starts early August and goes on until May. My team got relegated twice in consecutive seasons though. . . We're rubbish!

Something is up with my air. I'm experimenting with fixes at the moment but it's so humid, worst day for this to happen. it's like 90% humidity outside.

I'm almost more of a college football fan and that's back so soon. I'm excited.

Baby minion and I went on a date and saw a Cowboys game. It was my first time in the new stadium (the stadium they filmed FNL at is no longer) and baby minion's first game. He was sooo excited! We had a blast.

Aww, that's great! That's a memory he'll have all his life. I remember my first Browns game. It was with my mom and it was sunny and we sat in the "Dawg Pound" (i.e. the bleachers). I must've been 9 or 10.

Amanda, I hope the last couple days have been better.

I saw BlacKkKlansman. I thought it was terrific! I know it's based on one real life case, but the leads have such great chemistry, I left wanting a sequel! The film has more humor than you'd expect with that title and subject. But it also works as a drama and even a thriller. Also, it's cute that John David Washington sometimes sounds like his dad (Denzel).

As for TV, I gave up on Sharp Objects after the first episode. It just seemed soooo moody and meandering. I'm starting to lose patience with series that don't just grab me from the start. I'm still working my way through Lost in Space on Netflix and I'm liking it. And I'm going to start Castle Rock. I forgot Bill Skarsgard (Alexander's brother) is in it.

It's so hard to believe summer is already almost over. Isn't it?

I've read the book so that's what's keeping me with Sharp Objects. I don't think the series needed to be this long. I wondered when it started how they were going to spread it over that many episodes. The best part of the book is the twist and that's going to be done in one episode, probably. I'm not sure the build up is worth it but I'm sticking with it.

The new air filter worked, I just had to run the fan on the unit for about an hour to thaw out the coils and it's back to working. Thank goodness, it's still so humid.
