I don't really get that comment because Koresh wasn't bad looking to begin with. I know he had the whole 90's vibe going but all in all he was a pretty attractive guy, that was part of his appeal. So to have Taylor playing him makes sense, losing the weight, the hair I mean he was still good looking but I think he got as close as he could to embodying Koresh completely

I can't remember if he ever specifically said how he became involved. I just remember it seeming like it was a lengthy process, like he and Michael Shannon were attached, it was originally supposed to be a movie (I don't know if Taylor was attached then), but this was definitely a project that was in the works for awhile.
He took so much time off after TD and I wonder if part of that was in anticipation of doing this only to find out it was changed to a mini-series and maybe pushed back? It really sounded like he hopped on to American Assassin already knowing he was doing Waco and it was just filling some time between projects. I don't want to short change 17 Bridges, but I get that same kind of vibe with this movie. That it's just a fill in until his next projects. |

It was always seemed like Davidians vs law enforcement, everyone picked a side. I like that this miniseries didn't do that even if it did at times __________________

I think some of them are happening too fast. I can't remember which it was but that 911 movie that came out like five years after seemed too quick.
I was actually surprised they did Only the Brave so soon after. |

I love that! I also love the “I Still Believe” scene.

It looks like it's finally getting an Australian release. I have no idea how mainstream this is or what it is but it's coming to Australia in November on SBS On Demand.

Maybe they're finally starting to look into distributors overseas. Still want it on Hulu or Netflix.
I need to rewatch the entire thing. I only watched it as it aired and maybe went back and watched parts here or there. |

It would be great if they could get it to stream somewhere over in Europe in some off chance that it gets a run for the Golden Globes. Stranger things have happened. The GG are weird.
