I saw that they're trying to tell people to conserve in Texas. Yeah right...we had to do that once in the winter, and we'll occasionally have brown outs here if there is a really really bad heat wave but don't mess with my air conditioning when it's hot out. It's been downright perfect weather the last few days. It's about to warm up but I'm excited to go up north this weekend to get my hair done/go golfing and get some sun.

I need to wash my car, it has cicada debris all over it.

I'm trying to figure out decorations for this bridal shower, they said no balloons so we're overdoing it on flowers and then I found these stackable boxes that I can put balloons in with lights, they never said no balloons in boxes!

My parents are still at my house because they were watching the animals while I was in Louisville and my dad being my dad took it upon himself to do some trimming of some bushes and trees today while I was at work and he demolished one of my trees that I put Christmas lights on and I'm upset how upset it made me. I appreciate that he did this for me but I wish he would have asked me before he decided to take so much off the bottom of this arborvitae, not going to look the same this winter. He waited for me to get home to consult me about chopping the top off my pear tree, so at least there's that.

I don't think it's illegal to drive down the street or to photograph the houses themselves. I suppose I could reach out and just let them know I'll be driving ppl by on a regular basis.

Speaking of rose bushes. My knockout rose bush is doing crazy well this year. I did absolutely nothing different with it. It's just gone insane.

You're probably right, and it's not like you're using the FNL name or something that's copyright. As long as you stay in the street I don't see it being an issue. People kind of do the tour on their own anyway.

I'm having such a hard time finding dresses for the rehearsal dinner and wedding for my cousin. It's not a formal wedding, it's more along the lines of a barn type wedding so more casual but I feel like everything is either too dressy or too casual.

T'was a busy day. I got my eyebrows threaded. I've done it before, but OMG did this lady hurt! I cried. My tattoo was more comfortable than the threading. OM was traumatized and wouldn't get hers done. I don't blame her. They look nice though!

So, my mom had her Amazon account hacked. They sent the items to her house! Idiots. She got her money back already and now she has to deal with retuning the stuff they bought. It's just a pain.

My eyebrows are like my eye lashes, blonde and not visible so I literally have like nothing to thread so I've never experienced this excruciating pain.

What kind of hacker orders items and sends them to the house of the person they hacked?

I went up north today to take a mattress to replace a mattress at the cottage and then went golfing with my dad. I planned to stay the night but then I got a text that one of my Amazon packages was being delivered today and I didn't feel great about having something sitting on my porch all night into tomorrow advertising that I most definitely was not home.

The hacker was a hack.
She got back into her Amazon account and found 5 more orders she missed the first time. So she has to contact her bank again. She can see what was ordered, but not where it was sent. It’s weird.

I probably would have wanted to go home too. I’d be worried about it getting stolen.

That is weird. I wasn't really worried about it being stolen. I'll occasionally go through a, oh, that dress looks cute phase and buy a bunch of like 30 dollar dresses that are never really worth it...that was one of three that was delivered yesterday and it's too big and going back, but otherwise cute.

My allergies have been worse this year than maybe ever before and being up north, things bloom there about 2 weeks after it blooms by me so the cottonwoods were awful yesterday up there. It looked like it was snowing. So I woke up this morning with a headache and super congestion and I have to go to Wholefoods because I thought I'd be up north for breakfast and I could shop today when I got home and now I have no avocados and can't make my avocado toast, goat cheese and sunny side up egg. But I'm being so lazy I haven't managed to throw some clothes on to go out yet.

I also need to pull out the hedge trimmers my dad let me borrow to do some trimming but it's going to be 88 today which makes me want to do nothing.

Update I showered this morning with the intention of doing nothing, decided to trim the bushes and clean the house. I'm now 2 showers in today.

I took my father lunch and hung out for awhile. I'm home now watching NWSL soccer. The USA team christened the new stadium in Austin... Christened by Queens. Mathew McConaughey posted a message to them. It was cute.

Watched the mens Euro cup with my niece and her boyfriend yesterday.. Portugal vs Germany which is basically her heritage vs. his. lol May ex-husband is Portuguese so I have trouble routing for them anyhow, although I like Christiano Rinaldo.

3 more days of school, half days. I have so many doctors appt. and things to follow up on this week.

When we were in Louisville, they had that brand new soccer stadium right off of 65. I had no idea they even had a team but it looked so nice...we don't have a team here but we do have the Detroit FC and their games are insane but they're in the NISA.

As long as I played soccer, it was so much fun to play, watching it regularly I just can't get into for some reason.

Yay for almost the end of the school year!

I'm watching the US Open, as a father's day gift I got my dad tickets to the PGA event here in Detroit in two weeks. It's July 4th weekend so we'll be up north but we're going to day one of the tournament. I watch golf casually but trying to pick up on some of the players that will be here so I know who I'm watching live.

I got my hair done yesterday and I was convinced I was going to chop it off but I decided last minute to keep the length but told her to thin it the hell out, it's so so thick. I was actually watching all the hair accumulate around me and getting nervous, but it feels like I lost five pounds and she kept the length. She gave me some baby blonde highlights and I'm in love.

Racing Louisville is a new expansion team this year. I hope to go to a game if I ever get back out there. My friends son actually did some work for them at some point, an internship. He's getting his Master's now so I need to get there at some point. Plus, one of my best friends from college is there too.

Hiya all . . . It's been a while!! How are you all doing?

I think of you all (and the forum) often, but I never feel like I have anything to share. Anyway, I've just had a rare/unexpected Taylor on TV sighting, and I saw it as a sign!

I was watching Gogglebox, and they were watching Snakes on a Plane. I was hoping the clip they'd show would be the Taylor one, and it was!! Completely ridiculous, but I'm glad I saw it because I only ever saw the film when it first came out and I didn't know who Taylor was back then.

I've got no hope of getting all caught up and I don't really know what's going on in Kitsch world since he seems to have completely abandoned IG!

Off to bed now

Hi Emma! We miss you. I hope you're doing well. Are you guys out of lockdown over there?

Snakes on a Plane is great because he's dead like a half hour in. I've never actually sat through the entire movie.

As far as Taylor goes, he'll post a story every once in awhile, but he really has pulled back on social media, which is a bummer because without him working a ton that's really our only access to him. Otherwise, world of Kitsch, he's in LA filming The Terminal List, nothing else on the horizon, unless he's still attached to Inferno and that films later this year (maybe), he apparently sold his house in Austin which is a surprise and that's about it.

There is a blue jay in my garage and he doesn't seem to want to leave. I have no idea how to get him out.

They can be mean. Did you get him out?

EMMA!!! How are you?!? We've missed you, just jump back in and tell us how you've been.

We went to Dallas on Friday and came back late last night. Spent the weekend with my rents and sister for Father's Day. It was nice, the kids don't really like the holiday anymore, so focusing on my dad was a good distraction. We didn't tell anyone we were coming so the kids didn't have 20 different places they were trying to go. That was REALLY nice!

I told mom about the FNL tour and she was super excited about it.

We are getting a Momma cat and 5 newborn kittens tomorrow! OM is beyond excited. Like a kid on Christmas morning. We shall see how it goes.

I have a brunch on Saturday for Baby M's school and game night Saturday night. Oh! and we have tickets to see Baby M's friend in a musical on Friday night. That'll be fun. He's excited to see her and we have a pool party she'll be at next week. He hasn't seen her since school was out. I can't believe it's almost July!!

Kiki, I'm so glad y'all are almost done with school! YAY!!

The soccer team in Austin will have an honorary mascot each game from Austin Pets Alive, a shelter here.

We watched part of the US Open yesterday afternoon. My BIL's brother is a golf coach and he had clients in the tournament. He became a pro at 18 and went to school for golf. He had a client compete at Easter who won. He was super excited about it.
