It did! And I was off and on with Sawyer throughout all of season one, but that moment clinched my love.
He's an amazing character.And JS's interactions are always interesting. There's a underlying respect they have for each other. They don't like to show it very much, but you can tell it's there. __________________

 Even with all the stuff between them, and the Kate issue, they learned to respect each other and I think they trust each other and they have a really unique friendship.__________________

Yeah. And I think because they both love Kate - that's where they got that respect for each other. They both know that they'd do anything for her. Like, when Jack tells Kate to go back to Othersville with Sayid and she says what if Locke does something to her and he says, "Sawyer won't let them."
I mean, negate all the competition and who loves who more - their love for her has bonded them. If that makes sense. __________________
