Yeah first it was named after some dude but people started calling it Palmyra after some ancient Roman town - i was reading about that.

Oh makes sense that it's related to Rome. The Palmyra we joke about was a lady from Pompeii. I know some old ladies named Palmira, with an i :lol. But no one names their kids Palmira anymore.
