I think Jin was trying to save both of them. Himself, and Kate. But yeah IDK how Jin knows. He was on the freighter when the Aaron thing happened. Unless Sawyer told him at one point between skipping through time and pretending to be Dharma people.

AND YESS I loved Kate doing her own thing too. She came to the island for a reason, and she's sticking to it. Although, now I'm fcking scared about what Claire's gonna do. Oyy. She's crazy. She called Flocke her friend, and he's crazy too.

^Yep. She's really wants to find Claire. But at least we know Kate has a number now from the lighthouse, SCORE! #51 baby!
