Demi and Danielle fit right in.
I can totally see them having a family movie night and Demi/Joe curled up on one sofa/seat and Danielle/Kevin on another

But yeah I think it's cute, shows they all like/love her.
That when they are super tired, and they go out as a family that Demi goes with.
