This author explained quickly exactly what was wrong with this movie and my first question after seeing this movie was where were the other Angels? This movie was all about Kristen's performance when I was expecting more an ensemble movie.

And I felt that the other Angels didn't match Kristen's energy and I thought that she was referring to this movie in her interview with Kevin Hart where you can tell a lot of things don't bother her but she wants to work with people who are present and want to be there. I seriously hope that she doesn't choose to work with Elizabeth Banks after this mess of movie.

I don't foresee Kristen allowing herself to be put in the same awkward position twice, she's too smart for that and it was easily the first movie of hers that I thought of when she mentioned that she wants to work with people who are present and want to be there.

I know that she has put up with people saying a lot of terrible and false things about her and that's one thing but, she wants to work with people who want to be there working with her and Kristen was put in a position to carry "Charlie's Angels" when it was never intended or supposed to be that way.

Whether or not we needed another iteration of Charlie's Angels is beside the point here. Instead, the point is that Charlie's Angels (2019) offers Stewart's funniest work to date. Throughout the movie, Stewart is consistently hilarious (and adorable) as superspy Sabina who is somehow simultaneously incredibly capable and a bit of a ditz.

In Charlie's Angels, Stewart shows off her superb comic timing while again showing that she can convincingly play an absolute badass in the action scenes. Charlie's Angels is fun but mediocre, yet Stewart's performance makes it a joy to watch every time she's on-screen.
