Fans play an important role in the entertainment industry; whether it's for film, music, or television. In fact I would say it's one of the most important roles because without fans then there would be no show- no characters to enjoy. And without a show people would be out of the job. Lifeless. Lucky for us, on July 1, 2008 we were introduced to Ricky Underwood and Amy Juergens of 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager'. And what a following they have managed to create! Grr! I'm loving that it was a friendly ILY (for now!) but to go as far as saying like 'a brother, the father of my child I don't want to be with', that's harsh!
If only she could just say, 'ILY like a friend I can depend on' or something like that.

I wasn't expecting for the ILY moment to be any different. I kind of knew this would happen Actually I liked the scene and I loved that Ricky looked disappointed (I'm such a bad person ) because those are really good news for us. If Ricky is falling then he'll finally drop the "there's no heat" crap and face his feelings for her once and for all. Btw, wasn't kissing Amy like kissing his sister? I think after last night he wished he had never said that

Amy's ILY confuses me, though. I'm not sure if it was friendly / "sisterly" or if it was a genuine one that kind of came from very deep down her heart and she got scared after saying it and backed down. After she said ILY she got all nervous and tried to fix it (I'm not saying she is in love with him or anything) I'm saying that it made her feel uncomfortable because she felt somewhat exposed

Did she actually make a scene to Ricky because he wanted to help Ben?? (and she associated it with Adrian) Who the hell does she think she is? She's convinced she's his girlfriend or something

What I found encouraging was that Amy had to assure the both of them that she loved Ben. Had that "I do" been said in the context it was in the promo, it would have been cute and sweet, like a little thing to show that she wasn't BS'ing him. But the fact that she used that tone of voice, all soft and gentle to try and reassure him that she loved Ben? There wasn't enough conviction. Using the "I do" in the context it really was, it sounded like she wasn't even sure.

Yeah, it sounded like she was trying to convince herself and I believe that Ricky is realizing that he does feel something for her and he's trying to convince himself otherwise as well.
