Haha, I read two Ten/Rose books, but I'm such a Donna fan rather than borrow the book I bought it.

I've been wanting to read it for ages. Another book I want to read is Stephen Colbert's I Am America and So Can You. Of course I would snatch up Rick Mercer's Streeters in a heartbeat. I see myself hitting up Chapters in Ottawa or Toronto to buy books I can't find in Quebec when I go there next month.

Donna's my girl.

Well Stephen Colbert and Rick Mercer are politcal satirists, so I assume their books run with that. Especially streeters, which basically compiled Mercer's best rants from his stint on This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

I love the guy. Most likely I didn't get half of the jokes. But still, very funny.

I know he referred to Conrad Black.

Quote:
is a Canadian-born British historian and columnist who was for a time the third biggest newspaper magnate in the world.[1] Before investigation by regulators and investors, Black controlled Hollinger International, Inc. Through affiliates, the company published major newspapers including The Daily Telegraph (UK), Chicago Sun Times (USA), Jerusalem Post (Israel), National Post (Canada), and hundreds of community newspapers in North America.

In 2003, following investor complaints, Hollinger International reported to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) about misconduct at the company, including violations of fiduciary obligations by officers.[2] The report accused Black and close colleagues of running a "corporate kleptocracy." Black resigned under pressure as CEO of Hollinger International. He was subsequently charged with mail and wire fraud and obstruction of justice.

Black was convicted in Illinois U.S. District Court on 13 July 2007 and sentenced to serve 78 months in federal prison, pay Hollinger $6.1 million and a fine of $125,000. Black was found guilty of diverting funds for personal benefit from money due Hollinger International when the company sold certain publishing assets. He also obstructed justice by taking possession of documents to which he was not entitled
He also talked about going to Churchill, Manitoba which is on the coast of Hudson Bay (it's known for ecotourism, people visit to look at polar bears in their natural habitat) but then flew to Winnipeg (the capital and largest city of Manitoba).

I think the rest is straightforward.

ETA: I'm looking at clips of a show he did. I'm assuming you know Megan Follows? She played Anne in Anne of Green Gables. Anyway this show has a character who is said to based on Kevin Sullivan.

You haven't seen the movie? I'm fairly certain you're the only person I've "met" who hasn't seen it.
