I have to admit to having a soft spot for Landon Donovan, I can't possible dislike someone who is so sweet. They probably deserved to qualify as tbh they did kinda beat Slovenia had it not been for that wrongly disallowed goal. I just would have preferred England to have topped the group, but oh well we never do things the easy way.

England got a tough match now.. and even tougher one if they beat Germany..

Exactly. If you want to win the World Cup you are going to have to beat the best teams, you can't just avoid them all

I'm not that worried about playing Germany, sure they have tended to have more luck against us in past matches in major tournaments but they haven't played particularly well, much like us, so we do stand a chance. I'm not getting my hopes up as no doubt it will be a tough match, but we've had plenty of shocks already so I don't think you can rule us out, we can beat them, it's just whether or not our players come out fighting.
