I resented the "it was suicide, no holds barred suicide" issue, I preferred having the show end the way it did without the creators going "oh yeah, Sam woke up in '06, just to commit suicide".
 i just resented having this gift of getting to decide how it ended snatched away from me. That being said, it really helped with Ashes to Ashes, so I can't be too disappointed, right? |

but that's it, if he woke up in 2006, jumped, and ended up back in 1973 we could have assumed that he wasn't truly back in 2006, that 2006 was a figment of his imagination. They didn't have to go afterwards "oh yeah, well it was suicide as you can plainly see", I mean that was the beauty of it: we couldn't see that. So I don't think it was for Annie.
