How did you find out about Life on Mars?

I found out through TVTimes. The blurb talked about a British import that combined my loves of time-travel and mystery.

I think I mixed up my words. I was referring to BBC Canada airing the British version.

I was at uni when it was first on TV so couldn't watch it [ the days before bbc iplayer how ever did i cope!?] but one of my house mates from 3rd year kept telling me to watch it and how awesome it was. So when i went with my best friend to visit her dad in and there wasn't a lot to do we found he had the DVD's and started watching them .... we were hooked instantly! watch a whole series in a day pretty much
