It's truly a scary thought. I don't understand why we aren't doing more to prevent this from happening.

Because unfortunately the politicians hold the power.

Most governments have two agendas. Keeping the fat cats who really run everything happy as it loses them funding, and not spending public money at it loses them votes.

Well it's just wrong to have those Agendas and not put what really matters first

Well there is a big scandal going on at the moment involving the poisoning of an ex-Russian agent and his daughter and who knows how many civilians have been affected too. Some sort of Nerve agent was involved. People who were in the vicinity are being told to wash their clothes and wipe any devices like mobile phones with baby wipes. A lot of people are very sceptical whether this will work or not.

FYI We are having a big Winter Storm with high winds 100km and the power went out already, so if I disappear then it likely means the power went out. Or the Internet.

Winter storms this time of year are strange. The winds were high and hubby said when he was shovelling off the deck that heard a tree or large branch fall in the woods. The power went off and on a couple times, but we never actually lost power nor did we lose internet or satellite which I was very surprised by considering I could almost feel the house move.

We got lots of snow, but sometime over night it changed to rain and YAY I don't have to shovel today because the rain took most of the snow away.

All is good here now, but the power did go off and back on again about 1/2 an hour ago.

Glad the worst is over now. We are going out for a belated mother's day meal tonight so I hope it doesn't rain as it is a bit of a walk to the bus stop and I don't want to get wet.

Well I had a great meal with hubby but unfortunately due to a good night out with his mates last night son couldn't make it. I will have words when he recovers! He promised to make it up to me and I will make sure he does.

At this rate I will be getting my night out with my son in May as he has a busy schedule at the moment. We are supposed to be going out on March 27th but I'll believe it when it happens! :lol:

Going to see an Irish singer who does traditional Irish music on Sunday so I hope he is good.
