We left our old thread at 309 posts, mind you, with a discussion of Katie and the absurd idea that she would eventually marry TC.

I'm not so sure she dumped him, rather their contract simply "ran its course".

I'll admit I've not really ventured into these threads before :blush: but there are such interesting discussions going on here!!

Re TC, I think it's always been acknowledged that he is great with his fans and the people he works with so no real surprise that he would come across as lovely in situations like that. I do believe he has a lot of issues though and that Scientology has probably exaggerated them?

As for Katie, I think she made a big mistake, whether purposely or unwittingly, and will continue to pay the price for some time yet.

I personally believe it was a contract though! :eek:

Donna, that was such a cute Josh's picture with those glasses! It's so weird seeing him as round-faced, a bit pimply teenager but he's adorable. <3 :)

About TC and KH... Sometimes I'm afraid how influenced we all are by the media...

The journalists and the photographers post a picture of the couple, write whatever they want, interpret their lives as they find it suitable and we common people see everything from their point of view... Who knows what kind of people these celebrities really are and what kind of lives they actually lead...
We are getting nothing but a glimpse of it all and even that might be distorted...
I really don't know how TC is as a person... I only don't find him attractive physically and I always thought Katie was unhappy in their marriage but who am I to judge, I don't even know what was going on, really, like escapism says, it could have been just a contract... Maybe I just don't like the strictness of the scientology church he's devoted to so much... At the wedding she seemed smitten with him on the pic but... Everyone can smile when they pose for a photograph...

Now I have a feeling Katie is unhappy with her personal life... I wonder if she ever asked herself what would have happened if she hadn't married TC, and if she would have preserved her friendships with many people who are now out of her life, because she marginalized them way back when, including Joshy.

Also, after you have told me she and Josh used to be together, I've started rummaging around old Internet articles and I found weird rumours Suri is Josh's daughter (I believe you have probably discussed all this here long before I came along so I won't dwell on it much), but I am certain this is not true because 1) Katie would have told him and 2) Josh wouldn't allow his child to spend time without her father because he knows very well how that feels like.

And Josh apparently met Diane in 2003, on Matrix 2 premiere after party and he liked her a lot, but she was already married... :(
But when our boy found out she was getting a divorce (in the end of 2005 :) ) he sensed an opportunity coming his way :), he started calling her and asking her out as a friend, he was very persistent (apparently she said he was inviting her to grab a cup of coffee almost every day! :) ) until she finally fell for him after couple of months (and who could blame her :) ) and they started a relationship on 11th June 2006 (Joshy's 28th birthday! :) ) I remember reading how many envious people were commenting he's just a "stud and a rebound guy to her" and that she'll dump him soon enough so I am incredibly glad that not only she hadn't dumped him but she had changed a lot since Josh had entered her life. (became more relaxed and happier)

That was when he started appearing more in the media and I remembered him immediately as my childhood crush from The Mighty Ducks. I was drooling all over him since 2006, I was like: Wow, Mister, you've sure grown up nicely. *blushes guiltily*

Finally watched Aurora Borealis. Wow, Josh certainly did a fantastic job.

Several years ago I went to a screening of AB at a studio in LA. I was hoping that Josh would be there, but no such luck, just others connected to the film. I, too, have a poster, but I don't think it is signed. I just remember trying to carry it aboard the plane without tearing or bending it.

Last I heard, you had them deep in a closet somewhere. Go dig 'em out!

I feel bad for the commuters this morning. Apparently a semi truck filled with sweet potatoes overturned on I-4 this morning. So, the highway is closed until they can clear the road. That is honestly one of the most dangerous roads ever. I avoid that road at all costs, even if I have to pay tolls.

Praying the driver of the truck is ok.

That crash is pretty crazy and sad. What is a "rolling road block"?

Basically the cops make everyone drive through one lane at a snail's pace...about 5 mph.

Speaking of sweet potatoes. I have hated those my entire life. I always thought they were disgusting. Since a few months ago I've had at least three baked ones a week and crave more!! WTF? Also, hates peanut butter with a passion. But I've been hoovering down reases peanut butter cups lately and even made peanut butter balls for Christmas and ate most of them. What is wrong with me?!?!
