Janet - We call pink eye conjunctivitis. I've only had it once and I thought my eyes were going to fall out it hurt & itched so much.

Mary Ann - I avoid most things the kids at school have apart from the coughs & colds.

Anyway, hope you're all feeling better soon.

Sorry I've not been around much this week but my dad has been over and since Weds he's been staying at our house. We've been having lots of days out but on Thurs we climbed over the Millenium Dome in London (see pics on fb). http://www.theo2.co.uk/# (click on Up at the O2 in the link). It was great fun and very exhilarating!

My mom took my daughter shopping yesterday. I get a call from my daughter in the afternoon saying they were heading to the hospital! My mom tripped over a curb in the parking lot and broke her fall with her face!

My daughter wanted me to come get her cause the blood was freaking her out but by the time I got to town the hospital discharged my beaten and battered mother. I had to meet them back at the mall cause my mom had left her bag of new purchases at nordstrom. I ended up going in with them. We looked like a hot mess. My mom with her fat bloody lip and cuts all over her face, to me with no make up (scary) swollen red eyes and dressed in sweats and an old sweatshirt. I was dressed foran emergency trip to the hospital. Not the mall!!!! It was one of the most embarrassing experiences of my life.

I think I might actually kill my dads girlfriend if she stayed past Monday!!! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhh! Most irritating woman *ever*!!!!

I do need to take it easy. But we had to stack firewood today. It took the four of us 4.5 hrs to get it done. I felt ok doing it, but now that I'm sitting here all wrapped up in a blanket on the couch, I can't stop coughing. Maybe I need to go to the doctor. Having a cold of some sort for two months isn't normal.

What makes your dads girlfriend so bad? she can't be worse than your MIL can she?

You must all thnk I'm not very tolerant but she is just awful and I can't begin to explain why! She's on a par with the mil but in a different way! I'll give her some credit, at least you can have a conversation with her unlike mil.
Disclaimer - Me and Sarah didn't like her *before* she started dating my dad!

Go to the dr Janet! I'll be there this week I think, I can feel a sore throat starting up and I need to get my flu shot!

Maybe I can get into the doctor on tuesday. my daycare kids come at 4:30am tomorrow morn. But it's not as bad as it sounds. They go right back to sleep and then I just get the older one off to school at 8 and the mom is coming back at 9 to pick up baby for a few hours. Then they are back at noon, just in time for baby's nap! So at least I get a little break.

Me!! Got a cold (which isn't too bad now) but Im off work today cause my anxiety flared up this morning. Im annoyed cause I like working on a Monday cause they go really fast. Disappointed with myself now cause haven't had a sick day in ages.

Have had laryngitis for 3 days now. Loads of fun. My kids turn around in shock wondering if Barry White has entered the room. Now the smoker's cough has arrived -- you know, the one with the long wheeze in the middle? I feel like an old Yiddish checker player with emphysema.

Oh yeah, and I pee in my darned underwear with every coughing fit, thanks to my kids.

Let me state for the record that everytime I sneeze then have to change my underwear, I do not go around cursing my children. My kids are the best thing that ever happened to me! They're funny, attentive, intelligent, talented, appreciative and cool. And I can't believe they're mine.
