The nice thing about a panel is if by chance a question like that does come up, then my guess would be that another one of the cast would answer it and they would likely have that discussion prior to the panel. It's also possible that Josh won't be as vocal about the show as he has been in the past. However, having said that, the actual affair in the show is kind of old news and both Cole and Alison have remarried, so there may be other subjects discussed.

Yeah, they will be expecting it, I guess. But generally I think the kind of journalists invited will be wanting to talk about the show.

I need to catch up on S2 actually but I do know they are remarried through photos.

I believe the DVD for S2 will be out on August 16th.

IN the US, already pre-ordered. Though the dvds are so bare bones, it's very disappointing. If any show would benefit from actor/director commentary or writer commentary, it's the Affair, but nope, no extras, no deleted scenes, just one extra. At the the s1 dvds were like that.

Oh, I was going to say in the past all the promo interviews etc, even TCA around the Affair, had a way of getting into the actors' personal lives.

OMG, I'm working from home today and on our big morning show in the UK "This Morning", they are going to have a gossip section that includes a story about Josh and Katie rekindling their romance!!!

Now, the source is coming from Heat magazine which is a gossip mag, so not necessarily reliable but I find it interesting that it's made tv - one because we don't know if it's true and two because Josh isn't that well known over here.

It's coming up in about an hour, so I'm recording it - unfortunately I don't have the ability to upload videos but I will let you know what they say about it.

UDPATE: They basically said that Josh & Katie ARE together and have been on 3 dates over the last 2 weeks. They quoted Katie's comment about Josh being her "first love" and said she had turned to Josh when she had split up from Tom Cruise in 2012.

The other thing that made me laugh was the presenter saying that Josh looked like Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean!). To be fair he didn't know who Josh was and they showed an old Caesar haircut Pacey photo from DC S1. I thought it was a bit harsh - Lucie Cave (the gossip correspondent) said that Josh was "hot"

I call bull**** - there's no evidence that Josh supported her through her breakup with Tom, only that they had spoken in one phonecall. All the info was basically recycled and of course, there were no details of the dates or photos.

I agree that it's interesting that it made TV and that it's recycled. It's likely wishful thinking on the side of the fans. You say Josh isn't well known over in the UK, but I had gotten the impression from earlier interviews etc. that he was big when DC was on the air. There seemed to be a lot of female reporters that were very much Team Pacey, you could tell by the way they acted while interviewing him.

I must confess that the DC fan girl in me is silently hoping of a rekindling of their friendship.

I also put your post in the "Josh's First Leading Lady" Thread and I recommend we continue discussions over there as it's not really an Out and About topic as of yet

I think Josh was popular with girls of a certain age when DC was on air and some seemed very enamoured but not really so much any more. Generally if you said his name to most people, I don't think they'd know who he was (except my friends because I talk about him! Several contacted me when he split up with Diane to see if I'd heard the news - how embarrassing!).

Yes, I think it's funny that after all these years, people still mostly think of him as Pacey. The most common comment I get is "didn't he just disappear after DC"?

I suppose if you don't follow him, you could be forgiven for thinking that. He's done a lot, but nothing really in the "blockbuster" range of movies. I'm doubtful the typical DC fan would have known about Fringe, and The Affair is premium cable so if you don't pay, you prob don't know about it.

I personally think he's great hosting/doing documentaries etc, I think he could really make a big splash if he moved in that direction.

I think some DC fans will always see Josh as Pacey and will always call him Pacey and will not care to see if Josh did other projects. Same for other persons who just knew him as Pacey and didn't find him great as actor so they call him Pacey in a derogatory way and didn't check his other projects. Thanks god things are changing over time, even if few people will never change their mind.
