My thinking is we'll see Peter, but in a different timeline of sorts and, my hope is, carrying all the knowledge of the Fringe team, even though they won't know him.

The way the teasers have been going, it looks like he'll be shimmering his way in and out of our universe!

Yes it is. And that is great in some ways and sad in others, cos I would love Josh to be onscreen every single episode, selfishly speaking. That said, the producers and Josh have all said they understand they have to live up to the audience's trust and make the ending of last season worth the ride of this season, so... we'll see...

I wonder what version of "PETER" will come back?.Will it be the one from a future timeline or a "clone" or one from even a different universe entirely?. Watching things back from S1/2 there's an interesting few things which I never came across before.
The bit that WILLIAM BELL was talking to Peter at the end of "Over there" before the Olivias switched is particularly interesting.He seems to know that there's something different about Peter and his situation as if he knows he's jumping or time-leaping.Go watch it back and listen,it jumped out at me when I listened to it carefully.

Good news, "Fringe" fans. After months of wondering how long we'd have to wait to see Joshua Jackson back on our screens, there has officially been a Pacey Peter sighting on set. According to an autograph seeker waiting outside the location shoot, fans were initially told that Jackson had just stopped by to celebrate a crew member's birthday. Later, Jackson confirmed that he was shooting scenes today. That means Peter will be back by Episode 4, for those of you keeping track. There is a possibility that his first episode back will actually be Episode 3. If the new preview is any indication, the lack of Peter in Walter's and Olivia's lives has been felt, even if they don't quite know what they're missing. "We all get really good at pretending that the loneliness isn't there, and then something comes along to remind us," Olivia says. "I know what it's like to have a hole in my life. It's been there as long as I can remember."

Canadagraph has done a blog of Josh's return to the set, yesterday. Lots of photos with fans, with John Noble, etc.

It's good to see him finally on set. Josh apparently did shoot at least one scene, but it was inside I think.

It wouldn't surprise me if Peter wasn't in episode 4 that much, as that episode is the end of the four ep arc.

I think it'll be the next issue of I think it's called "SCI-FI NOW" or something like that but there's probably a review of the box set for the SEPT 21ST issue.Was reading through the magazine the other day and someone wrote a letter saying that FRINGE was the best sci-fi show EVER and that Jonathon Ross likes it as well in an interview with him.
