Joshua Jackson is climbing into bed with Showtime.

In his first post-Fringe TV gig, the actor has joined the cabler’s drama pilot The Affair playing the hard-edged cowboy husband of Luther standout Ruth Wilson’s character, TVLine has confirmed.

The Affair is described an intense and intimate exploration of two marriages and an affair that disrupts them – with all of the complex consequences that result. Written by Sarah Treem and Hagai Levi (In Treatment), the story will be told separately from the male and female perspective.

So I guess the point is to add any info we find onto this site or just come visit and have a chat about it whenever you feel like it.

I brought this bit over from the OT Thread which is actually what got me thinking about creating this Thread. The article is a bit lengthy, but it gives some good insight into Sara Treem and how because of her accomplishments so far, it might mean The Affair will be a huge hit.

We can also post what we know from Josh's interview at the Toscars last week, and Sarah Treem's tweets.

Sarah Treem and co are working on the scripts now. The Affair will be a 10-part series this season, which is typical season for premium cable shows. Josh said shooting will likely start in June, and the show will air on Showtime in the fall of 2014. We can't wait!
