Man, I love Eric. He's really the most dynamic character of the show. I love that Alex lets us see a little bit of Eric's inner thoughts without having any dialogue to do so. Like, when he was all serious with Jason and telling him to stay away from V, his little smirk at the end showed us that he was quiet amused by Jason's fear of him.

I loved that.

Another scene I loved was when that Texas ranger vampire was all like "Destroy all of them." and all the vampires went crazy, Eric just stood there in the center watching them, as though he wasn't really interested in senseless violence. Heartless monster my ass.

I know, they try to make Eric evil but honestly, he's never done anything heartless IMO. Sure he killed the hick but the man set 4 vamps on fire, and tried to attack Eric with silver.

He's not exactly humanitarian. But he's practical.

When I first heard him using the other voice I was wondering who was speaking. And then I realize it was Eric and became even more impressed with Alex than I already was.

The only heartless thing was to keep Lafayette in the basement and to feed on him. I hate that because book!Eric would've never done that.

I liked that a lot. Godric and Sookie asked him not to kill anyone and he didn't. He knows how to control himself.

he just plays his character well in it's spot on versus the others. I also like that scene he had with Jason, Eric was like that's a good boy run along
