Fringe - Possible Board Closure Discussion: Please Read and Respond!

Ropetuned and FoxPhile have been discussing this, and we think that it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 12 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. We would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. We'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

I had a long message typed out and it just froze. Figures.

I’d rather us go out on top and being fully compliant with the numbers required and in good standing after we just celebrated an anniversary

If we close the board we can start up a Fringe thread on the SciFi / Fantasy board and continue discussion there.

So sad , use to love this show and I hope.one day we get a reboot or movie ..

But you both did amazing for this thread for so long.so you should be happy about that . Ending on your own terms is the best option to

It's sad when any Board needs to close, but this one is close to my heart, so it will be hard to take.

I am having a similar problem on the Josh Board, but am determined to keep it going as long as I can. Having said that, it makes it hard to commit to other Boards as I do work full time and really only have time to post just before bedtime. I am also the only Moderator for the Josh Board since there was no interest in anyone being a co-mod. I'm only co-mod for the Dawson's Creek Board because when they posted the position, nobody applied, so I said I would do it. Sadly I think there are too many other platforms out there for fans and

needs to compete with those.

I would like to put out there that if your Board does close, you can always visit the Joshua Jackson Board as we have the following Threads dedicated to Fringe.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear this.

I had to do the same thing with my X-Men board.

I just hope you guys will still be around so I can hang out. Mark, please keep in touch and let me know if there's any other board you post on.

Fringe is the first board I moderated. I was so thrilled when I got it. It's definitely sad for me to think of it closing.
