I wish she had been a recurring character, because I think she was the only real friend he had since the beginning of the show. In an alternate universe, Peter is her partner and have the most amazing adventures together

I loved he and Martha Plimpton together, they definitely had an "it factor" together, she would have been an awesome recurring character. But I guess that would have gotten in the way of he and Olivia.

I think that might also have been around the time her new show was starting? Although it didn't seem to interfere with guest spots on The Good Wife (which she was also really good).

I think you're right, her new show started not long after that
