seriously caffeine withdrawals hurt. I quit cigarettes on my own and never got headaches like I do when I have to lay off for whatever reason

I've been having some heart issues, and heart disease runs really strong in my family, so it's time to cut back. I'm drinking decaf, and I may have an occasional cup of the real thing, but I was drinking 4-5 cups a day and that's just too much.

I went to see my doctor yesterday and she was terribly pleased that I'd given up the caffeine. I'm getting used to the decaf, too. And feeling better.
