#1 – Concentrate and ask again

OLIVIA: Just makes me wonder if maybe he feels the same way. And I would understand if he did.
I--I was her for a while and she's-- she's like me, but better.
NINA: Oh, Olivia--
OLIVIA: No, I mean, she still has her mother and she wasn't experimented on as a child.
And she can laugh. She has real friends. She even wears a dress every once in a while.
NINA: Yes, but even so, you don't know what Peter's thinking. William and I... we
also had a complicated relationship. If there's one thing I regret, it's that we
never honestly acknowledge how we felt about each other.
Don't make the same mistake that I did. If you want to know how Peter feels... ask him.

#2 - Olivia in the Lab with a revolver

NINA: Does Peter know? Have you told him?
OLIVIA: No. But I'm going to.
NINA: No. You won't.
OLIVIA: What makes you so sure about that?
NINA: Because you haven't told him yet. And I'm guessing you've had any number of opportunities.
OLIVIA: Well, I've had my reasons for waiting. This is the right thing to do, and Peter needs to know the truth.
NINA: Whether or not it's the right thing to do, I recognize the look in your eyes. I know that working
together closely with someone can bring about feelings. I'm fairly certain that you're not
prepared to lose him. You didn't come here today to ask me about a list that you already knew
I don't have. And you didn't come here to announce that you're going to tell Peter who he really is. You came here... to have me talk you out of it.

#3 - 6.02 AM EST

NINA SHARP: Yes, well... it wasn't supposed to be this way.
OLIVIA: What do you mean, it wasn't supposed to be this way?
NINA SHARP: I was told on good authority that if you and Peter were together, it would all work out.
OLIVIA: What are you talking about? On whose authority?
NINA SHARP: There's a man that William knew. I'm not sure where they met. But he had great
confidence in him. He trusted him implicitly. He advised me to do the same.
After William went missing, when circumstances warranted, I would consult with him.
This man knows a great deal about the machine.
OLIVIA: And you didn't think it was worth mentioning until now?
NINA SHARP: No, he said if I divulged what he had told me that I would never see, or hear from him again.
I didn't want to risk losing that connection.

#4 – Night of desirable objects

OLIVIA: What's this? (takes a piece note paper from Nina)
NINA: Sam Weiss, the man who helped put me back together.
OLIVIA: You know, the F.B.I. has psychologists. If I thought that I needed --
NINA: Well, he's not a psychologist. When you're ready, I believe he can help you.

#5 - Momentum Deferred

OLIVIA: He said that the man with that mark... would try to open a door between our two worlds...
that a storm was coming, and that the only way to stop it would be for me to find
him before the shape-shifters did.
NINA: A storm?
OLIVIA: Yeah. What?
NINA: It was a phrase he used. When Doctor Bell realized the existence of the other side,
the thing he dreaded most was the inevitable collision... if our two universes ever came together.
OLIVIA: Collision?
NINA: The Pauli Exclusion Principle means that no two objects can occupy the same space at the
same time. Doctor Bell was afraid that if the doorway between the two sides was ever opened...
that the unavoidable conclusion... only one world would remain. It's what he called the last great storm.

NINA SHARP: I hope it's not too late.
OLIVIA: No, I, uh... I just got home. Come in.
NINA SHARP: I wanted to see you. Especially after I spoke with Phillip. He told me what happened
to the girl. Are you alright?
OLIVIA: Yeah, I'm fine. Really, I – I – I -- I am okay.
NINA SHARP: Sweetheart, about what you said when you came to see me this afternoon...
I never should've reacted the way that I did.
OLIVIA: I'm sorry, I should not have accused you.
NINA SHARP: Please, I - I'm the one that needs to apologize. What happened to you as a child was unconscionable.
You've come so far, I just forget sometimes how much you've been expected to forgive.
OLIVIA: I'm not angry with you. I thought I was going to die today. And one of the things that
I kept thinking was that you -- you wouldn't know how I felt. You're the closest thing I have to a mother.
And I love you.
NINA SHARP: Oh, Olive... What? What's wrong?
OLIVIA: I've just been getting these migraines, that's all. It's really not that big of a deal.
NINA SHARP: Well, do you have any medicine?
OLIVIA: Yeah, my doctor gave me some.
NINA SHARP: Good. And what about food? Have you eaten?
OLIVIA: No.
NINA SHARP: I'm going to make you some soup.
OLIVIA: You know, y-- you don't have to do that.
NINA SHARP: I want to. I'm the closest thing you have to a mother. Remember.
OLIVIA: Thank you. That would be great.
NINA SHARP: Tomorrow I'm going to send some medication over. It's a new drug we've been working on. It's remarkable.

#2 – A Short Story About Love

NINA: I was wondering when I'd hear from you. I was just making some tea.
How are you feeling?
OLIVIA: I'm okay. I talked to Walter.
NINA: What did he say?
OLIVIA: It doesn't matter. I met a woman today. She'd just lost her husband, and as she was talking
about him and her marriage, as much as she wanted to be, she -- she wasn't in love.
As I was listening to her... I realized what she was saying. She had let go of the possibility of love...
of finding love. And I could see myself in her. I didn't like who I was. Now, all of these...
memories and feelings that I'm experiencing, they're from a -- a better version of me.
I've decided to let things run their course.
NINA: Oh, you had an emotional day, and you don't have to decide anything right now.
OLIVIA: I've made my decision.
NINA: You have so much in your life, Olive. Are you just gonna let that all disappear?
And be replaced by what? Memories... of a life that you didn't live?
OLIVIA: Yes.
NINA: Well, how long do we have?
OLIVIA: I don't know. Neither does Walter.
NINA: Hmm. Well, my mother used to say, ‘Encourage the quest for happiness in your children,
even if it takes them very far away from you’.
OLIVIA: When the day comes... if I don't remember this... I want you to try and build something with me again.
Don't give up on me. I love you, Nina.
NINA: I love you, Olive.

#3 – A Short Story About Love

NINA: The whole world is on fire, starting with my office. We've had to completely reevaluate all
our security measures after what that woman did. The truth is... I wanted to give you time
to collect your thoughts. I know when there's something you want to talk about.
OLIVIA: I'm in love with Peter. I know it sounds absurd to you. I hardly know him.
But it's like I've known him my entire life. And everybody, including him, keeps telling me
that it's impossible.
NINA: When Walter told me what you were going through -- two sets of memories,
two sets of experiences -- he said the Cortexiphan dosing might be enabling you to remember
things that Peter wants you to remember.
OLIVIA: But I can remember things that Peter couldn't have known, like details of cases that he
wasn't on or names, um, places he's never been. I mean, how can that be if -- if he's controlling it?
I don't know how this is happening, but... I'm scared.
NINA: We're gonna figure out what's happening with you, Olive. Now, as for your feelings about Peter,
all wounds heal over time.
OLIVIA: Yeah. I just wish the time would move a little quicker.
NINA: Well, that's a coincidence, because we just filed a patent on that last week.
OLIVIA: It's good to be with you. We should do this more often. What's wrong?
NINA: We always have breakfast together on Saturday mornings. We were here last week.
Are you saying you don't remember? I'm worried. You're having these experiences at what cost?
OLIVIA: I'll talk to Walter.

NINA: So you told me about the Fringe Event, but I think you left something out.
It's happening to you, isn't it? Now, come on. I haven't seen this much fear in your face
since Bobby Hastings asked you to the prom. So what can I do to help you, dear?
OLIVIA: You've done it. Walter thinks he knows how to deal with it. We just need to find the file.

OLIVIA: I thought you should know that we found Eugene Bryant's body. So it's over.
NINA: Well, thank you. You could have called to tell me.
OLIVIA: All he wanted was to be like... everyone else. But how could he? He'd never be
like anyone else. Not after what they did to him.
NINA: So you're thinking about what was done to you.
OLIVIA: You know, even with my colleagues, I'm different. Things that should bother me....
Do you think that it's possible the Cortexiphan Trials stunted my emotions?
NINA: Oh, Olive, you can't let what happened to you as a child define you. And no.
The answer to your question is you are perfectly normal. At least as normal as any of us is normal.
Life is an experiment. You have to find out where you belong, find your own place in this world.
OLIVIA: But shouldn't I know where that is by now?
NINA: Not necessarily. I mean, before you and your sister came to live with me, my life was work.
And I didn't think that I could find the time or the room for you girls in my life.
Now, I can't imagine what my life would have been like if I hadn't taken that risk.
Now, when the time is right, you'll know.
