Seems to be confirmed for an October 2017 release based on comments made by the crew at the wrap party last week. The big question now is when the teaser trailer gets released.

I actually think October may be perfect. There's no way Mindhunter can ever make the 2017 Emmy cutoff date at this point, so I think its better to have it premiere AFTER the Emmy ceremony in September. It'll be fresher in peoples minds for winning awards in 2018.

October does seem a long way away, but it seems about right if they just wrapped filming. They'll be in post-production for at least a few months. But it would have been nice to have this sometime in say June to help with the Summer hiatus from other shows! And just because I don't want to wait.

I think it's better to know the month to at least have an idea when to expect it It's better than not knowing anything
