It must be very sad to come to your world, your people and realize that none of them could see it wasn’t you. Insecurity is the least we could expect in a situation like that. But is there a reason on why they insist so much on this point if it seems no one sees Olivia as a lesser person?

You see, I see all these Olivias as the same one, with different life experiences. We know what happened to the Olivia we were introduced to in season one, this latest one, we’ve known her only for 15 episodes. But that doesn’t diminish the fact that she’s an identity, and like you exemplified, we don’t know what actually happened to her in some circumstances of her life. When Peter stepped into the machine there were consequences, one of them is this Olivia. She’s real even if people don’t like or connect with her. I would hate to see her disappear the same way I would hate BlueOlivia to disappear. Just like Walter, Astrid, Nina and everyone else. They gave us these people in S4, I care for them. Some can be more enjoyable than others, but unless they’ll tell us this is all a dream, they’re real.

That Olivia was in love with Peter, but with no Peter in her life because he left to find the real one, what was she expecting to find and live that was worth ditching her life and the people in it? Couldn’t AmberOlivia aspire to live a full life too? That’s why her conversation with Nina was so sad and so not BlueOlivia, the one she now wants to be.

All that to illustrate how they’re important to each other. We know that, they have a beautiful story together, there’s no need to deprive them of their strengths as individuals. These last two episodes were particularly unfortunate in that regard.

Okay, let’s wait for future episodes to see what they’re doing. In the end we can make a final judgment. As always some people will like, others won’t.
