Anna Torv | Olivia Dunham APPRECIATON THREAD  by I_Wish_I_Were_Kerry BIO Anna Torv was born April 15, 1978 in Melbourne, Australia. She graduated from Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) with a degree in Performing Arts in 2001. Since graduating Anna has performed on stage with the Bell Shakespeare Company.She soon landed her first role on television, cast as the character Irena Nedov on the Australian TV Series Young Lions. Her big break came when she was cast in the BBC series Mistresses, where she plays Alex for one season. It was her performance here that led her to being discovered by J.J. Abrams, creator of the Emmy Award-winning series Lost. Torv was cast as Olivia Dunham, the lead role in Abrams’ science fiction drama Fringe. Her character is that of a young but tough FBI agent who is forced to face the unexplained phenomena of her work with Dr. Walter Bishop, played by John Noble and his son Peter Bishop, played by Joshua Jackson. | Elite Fan | GAH Olivia literally kicked butt this episode. She showed that Joanne girl whose boss!  Damn, she's a fighter LOL. I loved her expression when she's like "I'll call you if any red castles show up" and then she turns around and is like OH DAMN a red castle! Haha. Too funny. And was it just me, or did her eyes look extremely gorgeous and extra blue tonight? Especially in the begging, her eyes really stood out tonight. | |||

ETA: LMFAO she told a story about how she signed a contract for Fringe in this service station in the Outback.
