I'm watching this episode now.

The David Bowie Album

Do you guys remember the other David Bowie connection I mentioned a while back. I only ask because I don't recall anyone commenting on it, but sometimes it's hard to catch and comment on all the posts during a re-watch.

Do you mean about David Robert Jones being his real name. Someone must have been a Bowie fan who worked on the show. They also used the name of Thomas Jerome Newton(I think that was his forenames) who was bowie's character in The Man Who Fell To Earth.

Yup that's the Bowie info I was talking about. I also love how they incorporated a bunch of toys into Walter's experiments.

Walter always manages to have toys in his experiments. I think the writers and showrunners must have been kids at heart apart from loving the gruesome stuff.
like this.

I think it also helps to give Walter that unstable child like personality.

Yes of course. Also the toys are a way for Walter to keep a bit of the original Peter in his heart as they are a connection to the memory of his lost son. I hope he took some into the future with him - now I am getting all sad about it.
