I can't believe we're doing the last questionnaire ever. Okay, maybe I can but it's still sad. As always, take my comments with a grain of salt.

Part 1:
What was your favorite storyline of the season:
I find this problematic because some of them showed promise and quickly dovetailed as the season went on. Isn't that true for almost every season, though? My favorite storyline would be (for the sheer hilarity of it) Adrianna and Navid getting it on in Silver's bed, and then (for the patience I've had) Navid saving Adrianna's life in the finale. I was one tortured Navianna fan over the course of the series so I'd been waiting years and years for this. It made me like two characters, specifically Navid, again after the writers treated them horribly and it reaffirmed why they're my favorite couple in the series. My favorite non-romantic storyline shockingly goes to Silver in her non-baby/cancer moments because Stroup truly delivered. I think the cancer was enough and the writers should've concentrated more on that. But what they provided was pretty strong. I hesitate to call this a true storyline since it came to a head in the finale but the build-up was very good.
There were some other fun storylines I enjoyed: Maxomi with the bank robber in the premiere, Naomi/Ade at the cowboy bar, Dixon/Silver making their video with accompanying flash mob, Riley/Annie before he died, JPK/Tristan before breakfast cuddling, Prince Pervert, Princess of Slush Naomi, Liam in a Box, Nearly Nude with a Tude Ade, Maxomi from Another Galaxy, Vanessa Dies and Returns to Diss Annie

What was your least favorite storyline:
Anything Addixon, that's for sure. I always said she'd cheat on him but when he was handicapped? The writers even went farther than me. I'm surprised she didn't push his wheelchair into the Playmates' pool. But Dixon didn't look any better in his quest to own Adrianna. Step by step, oooh baby, gonna yell at you girllll.....at least it brought back New Kid Joey Mac. (When are you coming back?)
I also hated seeing Maxomi destroyed thanks to Alec/Allergy. Who knew a unicorn could lead to a divorce? They made Max into a judgmental jerk and Naomi into a wounded wife. There were some sweet moments and I will always love that proposal but that was one relationship I didn't want decimated due to a boy crush.

Who was your favorite friendship of the season:
I hate to say this but it's neck and neck. I want to clearly say Naomi/Ade because they left Silver's boy-stealing butt home to do-si-do with questionable hombres but Navid/Liam had some great scenes this year. Shocker. Liam basically needs a Navid. He needs someone to handle anything in the register over three bucks, stop him from poisoning himself with homemade beer, and to learn about the birds and the bees before he knocks up another widow or psycopath. Cronus was a fun storyline and I loved them looking out for each other. And Navid needs a Liam because man, his season 5 life was a load of boring suck until the last four eps. Remember when he actually went to places like Vegas and Mexico ? Nope. Exactly.

Who was your least favorite:
Stab me in the heart....it's Tilver. What happened to Silver/Teddy? Teddy turned into an insufferable almost baby daddy. What, you can't watch ABC Fam, Tedster, and learn some pointers? Silver was Silver but to the nth degree. Selfish, manipulative, controlling once the bun was in Michaela's oven. A singing preggo just can't live without her around. It probably was the lack of sex because once Mark arrived, she got a teensy bit relaxed, and that's probably why she couldn't give him up. But yeah, Tilver was pretty mangled. It actually hurt to watch them in scenes together because you wanted to slap both of them.

Who were your favorite couple:
Navianna. And I'm happy that I can say Navianna because I certainly wasn't anticipating a reunion. What a pleasant surprise. Navid became a good guy again and Adrianna learned to be unselfish. Season 1 flashbacks. Oh, and they slept in Silver's bed and didn't wash the sheets.

Who were your least favorite:
Dixon/Adrianna. Just so much wrong. Besides the cheating with Taylor, who even got fed up with their lame drama and left, we had to suffer through their stupid musical careers which I never cared for. When JPK/Megan was in bed with Dynamo Dixon, and Adrianna burst in, I laughed. When Dixon was champagne-ing with Rita Ora, and Adrianna frowned, I laughed. I just didn't care. And don't get me started on the alternate ep where Adrianna was hanging all over his Kanye Brown persona.

Who was your favorite character of the season:
Naomi pre-Jordan, I'll say. Even though her marriage crumbled, she picked herself up and focused on her career. She was a great friend for most of the season and she slapped Liam in the off chance it would turn on his brain. (It didn't).

Who was your least favorite:
Liam, and it sucks because I really liked him a lot in season 4. Never mind that he choked the Artist Commonly Known as Adrianna, but he treated Annie like a chumpwipe, still went after Silver for some unknown reason, failed at a bazillion businesses, can't leave his shirt off, used Annie's publicity to score random bimbos, stole Dixon's peanut butter, brought kids to prison, drove his motorcycle to an illegal spot at the airport, slept with his professor without scoring an A, punched Navid, got lost in the woods without a compass handy, committed to another bad movie, bothered Terrell Owens, drunk-breathed on Annie, and nearly killed Vanessa because he was afraid she would give him cooties. That charming, charming Liam. But honestly he made bad mistake after bad mistake and he's lucky he's not dead or postmarked to Turkey.

Silver's done more bad than liam imo. I used to hate annie, but she became my favorite once she found liam. I never liked navid much but did ship early navianna. he cheated on her too much I couldn't take it. Dixon has always been my favorite because he never cheated. He was a jerk at times, but who wasn't? the amount of people silver and liam slept with including each other.

I think the major thing would be less lazy writing. The writers just ignored storylines after one or two episodes. It was like amnesia.

It felt rushed, especially Liam/Annie. I know they had to make it work with the time they had but still.

What were you happiest about?
None of my favorites dying!

Overall, what do you think could have been done to improve the show? I think the constant change in showrunners certainly didn't help. Better writing would have been nice, too
What element of the finale were you most disappointed about? It was very rushed but they did what they could I guess. I didn't like the lack of definitive endings for Silver and Dixon

Where do you see all of the cast going next: Stroup will do well in TV (can't wait to see her on The Following in January!), although I can see her doing some movies too during whatever breaks she has. I think if she gets on the right show with the right material she could win an Emmy. AnnaLynne needs to hurry up and be cast in something, I hope she stops doing straight to DVD movies - she would be great on AHS. Even though I don't like the type of music he's making i hope Tristan does well because I think he's talented. Matt will probably bounce around the CW for a while, they seem to like him. I can see Michael on another CW show that isn't about teens at some point or a guest/recurring role on a show. Lowndes will probably try the music thing for a couple more years and make keep making B horror/suspense movies. I'm sure Trevor will continue to get guest starring roles. Shenae probably won't act for a while, if ever again, and if she does it'll be indie movies or small roles - she'll most likely end up in the fashion world in some capacity.

What was your favorite storyline of the season: Drawing a blank on this one... but, Adrianna & Navid being reunited and maybe the Ade/Silver feud. Haha.
What was your least favorite storyline: Unfortunately I could go on and on with this question. Silver's neverending baby drama with Teddy (especially the introduction of Surrogate), Riley dying, the Maxomi divorce, when the fake cop scammed Liam and shot Annie and everyone just forgot about it, continuation of the Liam/Navid/Silver triangle.. and so on...

Oh, and my long lost Ethan. Just so he could see how everything turned out and be like "wtf?!"

The showrunners should have kept the characters true to themselves and the writers should have written deeper, more exciting and less coma-inducing storylines. I wish s5 actually showcased the whole Beverly Hills life because I think it lost it's "California Show" charm as seasons progressed and I think people would have loved to see that return (at least I would have).

Favorite season and why? Hmm... season two. I just think that the storylines were so good (overall). Lots of laughable, adorable, and relatable moments and so many of the characters were endearing or I found myself sympathizing with them. The settings and the music were wonderful as well. And the writing, the acting... ugggh. The first part of season 3 before it all went downhill is a close second though.
Least favorite season and why? Season 4. It just draws a blank in my head. I feel like nothing but all of the wrong things happened that season. Almost no character development, unnecessary/infuriating plotlines and characters.. tried to go back and watch it... haha nope. Hated it.

Michael - still filming shows, hopefully gets put in something funny and more appropriate for his age hehe. Jessica L - gah, I would love to see her do comedy as well but she'll probably still gonna be working on her album and acting in TV movies that I think she's much better than. Gillian, Trevor, Josh - no clue.

What was your favorite storyline of the season: Hard to tell really. None were particularly fun if I'm honest. Naomi and Annie with their brother was fun to watch until they shipped him off.

What was your least favorite storyline: Anything Silver related. Only when she's a background character in storylines is she remotely bearable.

Who was your favorite friendship of the season: Hands down Naomi and Annie were my favourite friendship by the end of the show.

Who was your least favorite: Silver/Adrianna because no matter how much the writers try to convince me, I have never thought that they were legitimate friends. Watching Silver blow their friendship yet again over a guy was ridiculous and the best part about the storyline was the smackdown Adrianna got to deliver to her about how she hadn't changed and was still exactly who she was in high school. Silver/Teddy also took a beating due to Silver being a total jerk.

Who were your favorite couple: Through default I guess Navid/Adrianna? The rest sucked.

Who were your least favorite: Max/Naomi, it's an unpopular opinion of mine but I hated Maxomi and what it did to her character. He dragged her down so much.

Who was your favorite character of the season: Naomi as always

Who was your least favorite: Silver. I'm astounded by how awful her character had become by the final season. Liam was pretty useless as well. Neither struck me as having any loyalty to their friends.

Who was your favorite guest star of the season: I liked the actor playing Mark. Had they done the storyline right there would have been potential for him to stay on.

Who was your least favorite: Max and Jordan. Both awful and having them around dragged Naomi into even lamer plots then the crap she was given for most of the season.

Who would you have liked to have seen again from past seasons: Jen... always Jen. I loved Sara Foster. I also would have liked to see Austin come back instead of forcing the irritating Jordan on us.

The death of characters - Um like Silver (although stroup is a very strong actress) was unlikable to me since season 2.
Navid was the same.
I never liked Teddy either. I know most people did, but I just never liked him. Trevor always looked to old next to the others to me.
Personally I would have kept tabs and dumped harry and debs.

I agree with you completely. Shenae is so young and I think nearly every actor has an early 20s marriage that they brush under the carpet

Personally I never thought that Debbie should have been in the show. Harry should have been a widower moving back to live with Tabitha. That way they could have integrated Kelly into the story by having them date in later seasons.

Instead we lost Tabs, Harry and Kelly and got left with Debbie - the lamest character on the entire show.

Stroup always had a very strong fanbase so I don't think killing her would have helped. However, I think that they relied on her popularity too much in S2/3 and gave her awful plot after plot thinking that she could make it work. It couldn't and it ended up alienating her entire fanbase from the show.

They did the same with AL/Naomi in S4/5. The thought her popularity would be enough to carry the majority of guest stars so she got sidelined to a bunch of crappy guest star driven storylines and basically stopped interracting with the regular cast.
