Even though Naomi may have had a harsh attitude towards her friend after her relapse, I think it was that harsh attitide that probably helped Adrianna realise that people weren't always going to forgive her when she messed up.

Yup, I feel like Naomi and Silver's shutting her out of their lives certainly helped push her toward recovery. Well, that and Navid I suppose.

As much as I loved Ade for finally getting clean, I'm still slightly annoyed it was because of Navid. I know she loves him, but her best friends needed her and she flaked out - but can pull herself together for him?

It's hard to appreciate because the way he was with her - and the Teddy thing - was one of the reasons she went off the rails again, so to base her becoming clean off him, isn't that kind of redundant? Next time they come to blows, she's going to be back on pills faster than you can blink.

I'd like to think that Ade's recovery was in the works when the whole Navid blowing her off thing happened. She was down in the dumps about him, and then her BFFs purposely ignored her and left her out. When Navid visited, everything just built up and Ade finally came to her senses. That's what I like to believe.

... Mostly, I refused to believe a boy could ever have so much power over a girl. Ever.

I don't know, nowadays shows suck at showing independant women. Cordelia Chase is the only independant character I remember and even that's because I didn't watch her final seasons on Angel. Brooke Davis was pretty fierce but Julian wrecked everything etc. They just all seem to end up so needy or something...

And God it's nice but it's not the be-all and end-all of life - I feel like the show sometimes takes a look at somebody like Bella Swan and thinks, wow, she's needy, let's base all our characters off her

Sometimes it's nice to have independant lead girls who isn't relying on her lead boy to come and save her.

I always believed in Buffy and Angel. And I liked Buffy and Riley. Too bad neither of those worked out.
