3.20: Women On The Verge


A BLAST FROM THE PAST – Annie (Shenae Grimes) convinces Marla (guest star Sally Kellerman, “MASH”) to attend a Hollywood movie premiere of one of Marla’s old films, while Ryan (Ryan Eggold) has an unexpected visitor and Teddy (Trevor Donovan) catches Marco (guest star Freddie Smith) in a lie and begins to wonder if he is being cheated on. Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) finds out Max (guest star Josh Zuckerman) was accepted to a college in a different state, while Silver (Jessica Stroup) has a breakdown after receiving some upsetting news that causes Navid (Michael Steger) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) to stage an intervention. Jessica Lowndes, Matt Lanter, Gillian Zinser and Lori Loughlin also star.

I'm glad we have Jen back! Ade was probably feeling the need to fill the b*tch quotient lacking in this show all by herself.

Jen's back! I mean she was a total selfish person for abandoning her baby but IMO glad she's back to right her wrong.

Dixon and Navid are staging an intervention? Wow.

Has the "We Hate Adrianna" club disbanded? Those were funny days. I'm glad that Jen is back too. Her scenes with Ryan have been surprisingly nice this season.

Erm... I am a little worried here: Navid and Dixon's interventions are not usually the best working plots, see what happened with the "Let's put the coke in Jasper's locker" plan in S02

I don't know about that, I'm part of the "Silver is going down" club. And also on the "Welcome back, Jen" club.

Very excited for new episode tonight. I hadn't watched 90210 since the beginning of season 2 so this weekend I watched every single episode so I'm finally caught up (yes..this was a slow weekend lol). Very excited to see Jen, but I wonder what that means for Ryan and Annie's mom.

Also, I have a question..Kelly has a son, but we haven't heard Jack about him since season 1..why don't they ever reference Silver babysitting him or something. Are we supposed to forget he exists?

I think so, seeing as Kelly can't be on the show any longer - but even when she was on the show, they hardly mentioned the son after S1. I guess it was something they wanted to forget.

What do you mean she "can't" be on the show anymore? I just caught up with the show this weekend so I missed all the behind the show stuff.

Jennie Garth decided that she didn't want to do the show anymore. It was supposedly one of those things where she was only supposed to do a few episodes anyways so it was her time to leave. (She and Rob are not in Season 3 at all, and the show wanted to move on from the adult characters and focus more on the younger characters.)

I think they approached Brian in the beginning and he didn't want to do it - and Tiffani's on White Collar now isn't she? So maybe she wouldn't have time.

Having David back would actually make sense, seeing as he's Silver's brother but this show doesn't put a lot of stock in the parents'/family
