I like that she's the first and only person, thus far, we've seen him tell his story to since in the pilot he was all "I just don't wanna have to tell my story over and over again."

I know that's why he at times reminds me of Brandon, Jason according to Jennie use to always pop his jaw in his make out scenes, Tristan does the exact same thing.
