For me, instrumentals give you a little more freedom cause you can really use the clips to your advantage, more than just matching them up to the lyrics or letting the lyrics speak for the vid itself.

i like them both cause they are both good for the videos
instrumentals give you a lot of freedom to work with the clips in term of sound and dialogue from the clips however lyrical music can do a lot for the emotive elements of the video __________________

If you're good with making a storyline for yourself, intrumentals would be easier. But like I said, I'm used to matching the clips with the lyrics. I tend to do a video when I hear a song that just fits with a ship or show or something perfectly.

Word, I hardly do vids now - since I hate WMM - but when I did, the song had to be perfect or else it wouldn't work at all.

It makes me wanna go back and redo the ones I did in WMM. To make them better, effect and transition wise, but also just quality of the video. The WMM ones are so grainy/blurry.

So true. As someone that always gets frustrated, over the littlest things, it drove me crazy. I learned to save after like everything I did. The worst is when internet windows just randomly close or go back. I can't count the number of times I'd be doing a massive picspam or meme or huge icon post and that would happen.
And I'd cry. __________________
