How are you finding Fiona's breakdown?

I know, I went through almost an entire season in a day

I think it's been really interesting to see since Fiona has always been the rock and now Lip's having to take the reigns while she spirals. It was really sad what happened to Liam though, even though he survived, that's heavy stuff and how could Fiona not be riddled with guilt after that.

Exactly.

I actually loved Lip's storyline last season with trying to adjust to college life etc. I thought it was a great direction for the character.

Same here. It was cool to watch him try to adjust to a world so different than the one he knew before college. From the tough professors to striking out with the ladies Lip was used to things kinda coming easy to him so it was nice to see him in more challenging surroundings.

Yeah that's why I hated his hooking up with Mandy because I always feel he's taking a 100 steps backwards and it makes him look bad for treating her that way.

Mickey is great, I just love him

Agreed. I think Lip's relationship with Mandy really did hold him back a lot.

I love Mickey so much, he's really become one of my faves and he's so funny, like when the prostitutes got mad that they were losing business and he goes

I also thought it was really sweet how he rescued Ian from that old perv at the club and it's really great to see Mickey gradually start to accept who he really is.

I know besides Lip, Mickey's journey has been one of my favourites. Both of them have grown up so much and grown into themselves.

What did you think of Steve/Jimmy's ending I meant to ask?

Totally agree

I hated it, truly I mean, they turned Jimmy into a total douche by the end of his run so it's not like I was gonna miss him but it would've been nice for there to have been even a tiny bit of closure between him and Fiona and by closure, I do not mean she's handed a big wad of cash while thinking Jimmy's still out there somewhere alive and well


Edit: So I finished Shameless last night and I see Jimmy actually is alive and well I also saw the S5 premiere and thought it was amazing, plus they put Dermot Mulroney in it who I absolutely adore. I thought Mickey and Ian were so adorable in the beginning of the premiere which is why I was so bummed out when I later saw Ian repeatedly cheating, even if its part of his illness

It certainly looks that way. I don't mind them getting some angst as long as it doesn't mess with the balance too much. I really enjoy them being the one stable couple on the show.

Not yet. By the time I finished with Shameless last night, I could barely keep my eyes open I'm gonna watch it tonight though, along with all the other shows I have to catch up on now
