Long Story Short

Season 1

Dixon and his family move to Beverly Hills, where Adrianna has lived for years. Dixon and Adrianna share the same group of friends, but have almost no interaction. Better luck next year.

Season 2

Viewers begin to wonder if Dixon and Adrianna even know each other's names.

Fans become a little more vocal in hoping to see them interact. But we've a long way to go before that happens.

Season 3

More of the same as fans cling to hope.

Intermission

Jessica Lowndes reveals via Twitter that Adrianna and Dixon will have scenes in Season 4. People grow cautiously excited...

Season 4

FINALLY...Dixon and Adrianna make eye contact and direct statements toward one another. Fans applaud this bold beginning.

They are weeding her BS personality, anyone that watched tonight saw that Ade is desperate and she's being fake. She manipulated Austin epi. 4x01, manipulated Liam tonight, I'm sorry that was so much bullsh... "I care about you" really?

I died laughing there. My friend was pissed, but I'm talking her off hating her I think it gets to Ade|Dixon later and all this will prbly lead to him not fully trusting anything from her, but being a friend, while she's really developing genuine feelings.

BTW missed oppurtunity Dixon swings at Navid and Adrianna was nowhere to be found.

Same vacinity actually easier to see, but instead I had watch some of the most lifeless scenes between Lowndes and Lanter. Adrianna if that's a preview to scenes w/ Liam she might as well be dead, b/c there was no spirit in that character.

I have always loved Jessica's portrayal of Adrianna, loved Ade and Navid in season one. And now the hope of Dixon and Ade in s4 is the main reason why I'm still watching! oh yeah.. I may also be waiting for the timely demise of yuckky Navid and Silvers lives crashing down, but yeah... I digress.. lol
Ade and Dixon have such strong sexual chemistry, there are definitely sparks there and they haven't had a love or sex based scene yet!

I like how the writers are still showing Adrianna as a human being who is still learning. She is still up to her old tricks but instead of using her tactics for evil ( like in s3) She is using them to get things back to normal. But yes.. shes still a little desperate for what she wants, somewhat conniving and a bit plastic at times?

Hopefully Dixon will be the one to finally break her emotional barriers down and teach her how to act natural around people and not always "act" towards people. He canhelp her shed the "perfect little actress"character her mother forced upon her.

I totally agree w/ everything you said there and here except for the N|A thing, I always found that connection strange. I love how effortless thier chemistry is, is like a throwback to the original, and there are times, remember it's only been 2 or 3 scenes but they sure have alot of sexual chemistry. That's the biggest thing that surprised me. I hope that gif is a preview to this season b/c there's no way I waste that chemistry, it's OTP chem and a fresh dynamic that adds a long story, so I'm 100% on board.

I'll be glad if we see her hang out at Dixon's place again. I want more fun, comical scenes at some point. That's not how I imagined their relationship would start off, but it works.
