Honestly, until about half an hour in, the episode was pretty bad (especially Adrianna's acapella memorial song - it made me cringe so much), but the resolution of the mini-arcs towards the end bumped it up quite a bit.
I know someone else said that 90210 is becoming like OTH, but it genuinley is. There's the whole Adrianna takes some time off school to pursue a music career with an aarogant guy who's totally in to her - just like Haley. Then there's the time capsule, and the bachelor auction in next weeks promo. The man sharing of Naomi/Annie is a lot like Brooke/Peyton. Plus the fact barely any of them have parents anymore. Next thing we know there'll be a psycho nanny terrorizing their lives, and the whole cast will pursue careers is some largely unrealistic position of fame and power. Anyways, back to the episode: Loved - that Kyle Riabko brightened up the screen for those few short seconds (even if it had to be with Teddy). The Silver/Naomi/Canon arc, the Naomi cliffhanger Liked- Annie's sl, the focus on friendships instead of relationships for once. Hated - Adrianna/Javier story line, Ivy's hair slowly becoming like that of a flinstone. Where's Navid? No Lannie? The rest was irrelevant! |

Arianna's storyline bores me. She's a horrible person for stealing a song from a DEAD guy.
Naomi's storyline is still my favorite. AL is amazing. LOVED seeing Matthew Ashford back on my screen! I've missed him! |

I really have a problem with the Adrianna storyline - and not just the fact it's as dull as hell - but they way they're portraying her over stealing a dead man's songs. Sure, he was basically an ass but a little bit more empathy from Ade would have been wonderful. It's reminding me of the hit and run story line were we're supposed to feel sorry for the absolute wrong character. The way I couldn't get behind Annie's ~woe is me over the hit and run, I'm starting to dislike Adrianna over this.
Would it kill them to have it affect her in a way other than what it's going to do to her career? Admittadly, stealing songs is not as bad as running over the homeless, but the could care less attitude is riling. All Adrianna's done in the past few episodes is look shocked/guilty. They're wasting J.Low by limiting what could have been a great storyline, and now Javier's uncles in the act, I can see this stretching on as a blackmail SL for a long time. Her whole career is going to be based on the uncle never revealing her as a song stealer, who performed the song at the guys funeral. Classy. SN angst made up for it, though. Oh, Silver, at least you were smart enough to put it all together in the end - and creepy Cannon, Jesus; that scene where he's barely hanging onto control in his flat is flat out terrifying. I don't completely understand the reasons behind Cannon going after Silver, seeing as she hasn't cried wolf and would be able to tell everyone and their mother she was raped - even if he drugged her, waking up in a teachers apartment would be enough to set alarm bells ringing and make somebody as naturally suspicious as Silver question what in the world had gone on but we get angsty Silver/Naomi glances so I'll go with it. And I'll go with everyone else in the thread and agree that it would have been nice to have Adrianna involved with the drugs, seeing as she's West Bev's resident druggy. Once again, Navid's off being a ninja or whatever he does when he's not in school. Nice way to utilise a main cast member, show. Good work. __________________

honestly though, i thought there was something off about him when he first met naomi and "accused" her of hitting on him. i feel like he was already somewhat invested in her early on at that point, but when she cried wolf, it sort of gave him the opportunity to follow through with it.
he is calculating. when he guilted naomi into telling the truth, he knew right then and there that he could do to her what he did. |

idk what was cannon's plan, but who is to say he doesn't pretend like anything happened. maybe his plan was to drug her, rape her and then make it seem like she just fell asleep watching his movie? who knows what his plan was, but from what i can tell, he was sort of losing control in his apartment. i dont think he was thinking clearly at all.

Even if Silver was doubtful they'd had sex, if she passed out in his apartment, she'd have to be suspicious, because that's her natural state most of the time Quote:

On a slight sidenote, it's funny that Desperate Housewives will be using the same laptop that Silver was using in this episode. They must want to advertise it badly.
