I rewatched the Miguel kill scene recently. It really got me again seeing Dexter have to go back to affirming his belief that he'll always be alone in the world with no one to share his secret. He had built up trust in Miguel, and Miguel totally wasted it.

"You were like a brother to me."

"I killed my brother."

Totally badass moment right there.

Miguel was so awful in the end wasn't he? I mean he set up Dex from the very beginning with the blood stained shirt and Dex fell for it straight up. At least in season 5 he got a true killing partner that didn't abuse it.

I hate Miguel so much

I was sad for Dexter because he felt like he could never have a friend but Miguel was a jerk.

Miguel may have had the blood-stained shirt, but Dexter had the fact that he'd killed Miguel's brother. And then when he revealed it to him, punk-ass Miguel could only go "Nooooooooooooo"

Dexter came out on top like a king!

Yes, he definitely got him there

I hated it when Miguel killed LaGuerta's friend, that was so shocking that he actually went through with it.

He was a jerk. Ellen didn't deserve to die.

And he only did it cuz he was full of himself and couldn't handle losing. Even if Ellen was on the side of the corrupt, it should've only given him incentive to work harder for justice, but he had to kill her instead, which makes him worse than the corrupt politicians he hated.
