What are people's favourite Angel relationships? (Not just romantic)

Oh mine is definitely the one he has with Deb and with Dex.
Even though obviously the relationship he and Deb had has always been a lot more sincere for obvious reasons, I still love the banter he shares with Dex. As much as they don't always understand each other they are both quite down to earth and dependable when it comes down to it, and very protective of Deb ao. So I do really feel there is a lot of mutual respect.

I'm glad Deb had someone she considered her (irl) role model within the force, which is I think Batista for the most part. Obviously she admired Lundy and her dad but those were more figures she could admire from afar... I always liked how Batista more or less treated her like his sister, but was also able to show her the appropriate respect she deserved when she made lieutenant over him.. I wonder if there will be a twist somehow that Deb loses this position and Batista ends up taking it after all... All depending on how his enterprise goes and where things between him and Deb will go..

Will he notice how much Deb has changed?? Would be hard not to notice you'd think, judging by how close they have been all these years? Mix in the mysterious death of LaGuerta, definitely some things might change between those two.. Not sure how I feel about that because it's always been one of my favourite relationships on the show.

Besides this I always liked Batista with Masuka too, for entertainment value. Basically I really like Batista, I would be sad if he were not an active part of the last series - I really hope they give him a good storyline next series.

I Have not Watched the whole episode but on The Following tonight ,he was a guest star tonight on the show. Got shot but not sure if he lived !

So I have to say I was disappointed with Angel's influence in the final season. I was glad he was back to being a cop, but I would have preferred he was leading an investigation into tracking down Maria's killer.

Last season they were so close to exposing Dexter and then this season it wasn't even an issue. I really think in the final season they should have continued the story arc with Angel trying to find out the truth about what happened to Maria and getting closer and closer to Dexter and Deb's involvement.
