Happy (Belated) Anniversary Cookies! It's been three years since the most rocking board at Fan Forum was opened!

After living on Cookie crumbs for months things finally started happening this past year. David and The Anthemic played twin shows at Busch Gardens, Virginia in August '10 and introduced us to a brand new song called Paper Heart! We fell in love with the song's catchy chorus and genius guitar riff instantly, and Sony's eagerness to pull all the videos of it off YouTube gave us a reason to believe that we had just heard the first song from David's sophomore album (aka DCTR2 at the time)!

During the summer and the fall we also got to see David perform a heartfelt rendition of America the Beautiful at the US Open tennis tournament, star in an American Idol promo video alongside his fellow Winners and try his had at tennis himself in a celebrity tennis tournament for charity.

In 2011 news and info about the recording process became more and more frequent. We got to enjoy numerous teaser videos and vlogs from the studio and flailed over every snippet of previously unheard songs. Pictures from photoshoots, both from the studio and magazines, and red carpet events filled our eyes with the pretty.

Then the David storm started and news rolled in. The "boot song" for Idol which David performed on the show, the lead single of the new album, which David also performed on Idol, and the music video (featuring The Anthemic) that just happened to be made of awesome, the title, cover art, track list and release date of the new album "This Loud Morning" (no more DCTR2) and the fact that in addition to the album we'd be getting all kinds of goodies too, like an acoustic EP and a making-of DVD.

David and The Anthemic finally got back on the road and played several shows throughout spring and summer, like Pet-A-Palooza, Concert for Hope, H-Artistry in Vietnam and Six Flags, which introduced us to more new songs from the new album. He also played countless of acoustic sets for radio stations with Neal in tow. We got to hear stunning live versions of some of the songs from the new album at the Walmart Soundcheck. In the middle of the promo David took time to run the Race for Hope for the 3rd year in a row and play some wicked renditions of songs with PS22 Chorus children's choir.

Then the big day arrived! On June 28th This Loud Morning was finally released and 1.5 years of waiting came to an end. We got 12 + 2 tracks of brand new, beautiful, meaningful and amazing music. Everything we wanted and more. The guys celebrated the occasion by playing not one but two shows! TV appearances followed. What a start for a new album cycle!

All the excitement also helped us reach a huge milestone of 150,000 posts just a month before the anniversary!

So we begin our 4th year at with the sound of This Loud Morning playing in our ears non stop, hoping that it will bring lots of singles, new music videos and touring for us to talk about. Thank you to everyone who's supported the board the past year! In three years some things have changed but this stays the same; David's music, old and new, will keep bringing us together.
