Robert Pattinson Music Appreciation Thread

Rob has mentioned several times that he loves to play musical instruments and that he is planning to record an album. Since we can't wait any longer for this, here is a little thread to spur him on and maybe make him do that much sooner.

Didn't he say that he has written a little something for the lullaby? I just hope that they will choose that one in the end. Okay, he won't sing there, but he can always do that elsewhere. Maybe if he goes on tour in some tiny clubs around here...

I don't think anything was set in stone. That's why I'm just hope that they do decide to go with whatever Rob's written.

Doesn't he sing in How To Be? I could have sworn that in one of the trailers it said that he sang.

AFAIK, he is only playing the guitar in the trailer. Okay, there are the BTS videos, but we don't know if they will use anything like that in the film. It would be awesome, if they did that though.

If they use the song he wrote and played for Bella's lullabye.. that would just be soo amazing!

Wouldn't it?! I'm so crossing my fingers for that! And if they don't use it, they could at least somehow let us hear it anyways. On the official website or the DVD.

Heh, and I'm currently looking for the quote of the interview where Rob mentioned what kind of music he is making with his friend. I just love that interview and how we don't know anything else in the end, since he didn't really say anything at all.

Oh like a feature on the DVD of the music. That would be amazing. Kristen keeps saying what a wonderful musician he is, it makes me want to hear soo badly!

It was one of the four MTV interviews on set. He keeps talking about Bella's lullaby and then tries to explain what kind of music he makes - and mentions the trumpet, which always cracks me up.
