Ok honestly I like Claire Brady Because she's everything like her original parents Were. And nothing like the rejects she's the daughter I picture them having regardless... and not just for looks she's got that attitude too

That's exactly it, she what they once were. Thankfully she takes after her father and less her mother. She looks like them as well, so that's nice.

I think they cast Claire Much like they did with Jason in 99 very much with the essence of his parents in mine, in this case I think they did it with the essence And/or spirit of classic Shawn and Belle If that makes any sense.

Although I'm not really sure how they pulled it off That well or even why they would bother. I'm definitely glad they did though

Wait whose Lani? If Shawn has found someone whose treats him right I'm all for that. Though I think it's too soon, I think he should just be focusing on himself and Claire. I do think that Claire would want to live with Shawn over Belle.

Lani is a cop (she's also Abe's daughter). They're not dating but they work together and last week Shawn asked her if she'd like to have dinner with him and she said yes. I really like them together and she's even stuck up for Shawn against Belle because she doesn't like how Belle's been treating him/messing him around.

Shawn's focus is on Claire, just as it should be, like when she returned from Julliard and had been turned down and he gave her a sweet pep talk that cheered her up. He's also very protective over making sure Claire/Belle's relationship stays intact despite what a selfish cow Belle's being.

Shawn staying father of the year, while Belle showing her true colors. Excellent, I hope Shawn gets main custody. I think Claire will be better off living mainly with her dad considering her mother can't seem to be trusted.

Yep, Shawn is totally father of the year. I think it's very big of him to put Claire's wellbeing and relationship with Belle ahead of any/all issues between himself & Belle as a seperated/estranged couple.

I don't think Shawn is too serious towards Lani? I think he just wanted to prove that if Belle can move on he can as well

But he's 100% better parent than Belle is.. he at least puts his daughter's well being first not last

There haven't been enough scenes for me to form an opinion of how serious he is about Lani right now. But a major part of it is probably to show he can move on too. He very much regrets letting his dedication to his work come between him and his family.

Shawn is the solid parent that Claire needs and can depend on. She has been 100% done with Belle for months now. The mother/daughter relationship has been hanging by a thread and Shawn has been the only thing holding it together really by his loving encouragement with Claire not to give up on her mother.
