Re the distance between Claire and hope a good writer would turn that into a subtext about Hope having to deal with her feelings re zach all over again...

I think the lack of Claire/Hope screentime is probably to do with Hope's character direction since Bo's death more than anything else.

I'm sure the grandmother/granddaughter relationship will be acknowledged when the storylines settle down (though that's probably wishful thinking). It's really stunned me the almost lack of emotion, reaction that Claire had to Bo's death. I mean I know she grew up with him barely in her life but still I found it odd.

It was nice that Shawn and Belle were both there to see Claire play.

I'm still bitter that Claire/Joey can never happen because of them both being Brady children.

If Belle/Shawn hadn't ended up axed from the show I definitely could have for-seen a scenario happening of lots of mother-daughter angst if Belle had gone on to re-marrying Phillip.
